I am going to move my installation to another drive and see if it fixes black tracks issue, although it's currently installed on a 4TB Corsair XT core nvme which is faster than my other game drive it's worth a try and it doesn't take long to move it.

Moved the game to another drive and so far no black track issues as off yet.weird

Get a copy of AC or ACC (or if you’re minted iRacing) and never look back.

Even the basic free content in raceroom is levels above Forza.

Pretty sure there is a career style mod for AC as well if that’s the main selling point for you in Forza games.

I have all those games personally, but sometimes you just want a game less serious more arcade like with a wider selection of cars to just mess about with modding cars and having fun.

Yeah very strange, that is exactly what I did. Used the gamepass app to just move the install, it seems speed is not the fix but moving the game itself is.

I wonder if Jono8 has tried to just move the install just to see if moving the files simply fixes it.

I uninstalled it completely yesterday :p

I don't see that there is anything in this game for me. Average graphics, buggy, awful AI, very poor single player career mode. I don't tend to play games online so i don't really care if it is good online.

Massively disappointed. I thought they'd bring out something amazing after 6 years of development, and a new gen console to put it on. Instead it is probably the worst of all the Forza games.

i have to say, the pure weight of internet moaning and trollage around it is just getting ridiculous.....and boring!, its not even in any degree of context anymore tbh. such a shame its just become a target.

Its overall a good game, yes it has niggles and issues, which are being rectified. I am a good 35+ hours in and literally don't feel I am anywhere yet!

Did online for the first time last night, 1 awful race of rammers, 1 ok and one was absolutely brilliant. Had a great 6 lap battle to keep 1st with someone, we didn't make contact once and we side by side for 90% of the race....BRILLIANT!

I am now thoroughly addicted to the Rivals element of the game! the best part about joining the online featured racing is you are given the Civic Touring which is frankly AWESOME!

I think that the featured may be only standard MP btw, I played for good few hours in the private MP mode with 3 friends last night which was great fun and worked seamlessly :)

Of all the criticisms you can level at Starfield (and there are many), being a short game is most certainly not one of them!

It is warranted with this. What does it do that hasn't been done countless times before by other racing games (and done better)?

It's not so much that it is an unplayable /awful game for me, it's more that it just doesn't do anything any better than countless games before it.

As a game, it feels utterly superfluous.

yeah know what it is, but cant see an option anywhere tbh.
i just fired it up for a quick MP game, and omg the penalties, either they the dirtiest drivers or im a saint:D, only come 2nd but my 2nd go so no laughing :cry:

Having an issue with my CSL DD - when I first launched the game I bound everything okay, then after closing down and returning I can now only bind steering if i'm in normal mode (red) or pedals if i'm in compatibility mode (yellow).

V3 pedals running through USB.

Re-installed driver.


Any ideas?

Thats a fair point tbh,

Personally now I have the graphics working properly I have found myself really enjoying it. Maybe I am just easily pleased?. I really didn't get on with 7 at all but this really has managed to capture my interest in FM again for the first time since 4 (which is still the best one imo). Wouldn't ever say it's without its issues though.

Played 100 odd hours on GT7 and I think it's lacking vs. that as you say in several areas and overall polish but I think that with patches and future content this has the potential to be pretty great.

It's a shame it's fallen into the 2023 sea of "average" that is what seems to be most game releases this year.....then again I am enjoying starfield too lol! See my easily pleased comment above :p
