Free Shipping for Loyal Forum Members

Free delivery or not, it is still the same delivery service? Sounds like you have been unlucky and the order has not been dispatched on time.

It's only just been printed in your warehouse! How can it take 3 days for it to come through.....

Anyway going off topic slightly (sorry!)....

Why have you not used the customer service forum, you know I am there ready to always help. :)

Post your order number in there and I will sort it out for you.

to be honest the cost of postage has made me shy away from OCuk i created a list for my new pc and with postage etc it put me off so i purchased elsewhere but im glad i stumbled onto this as things i've ordered in the past have came on time.

Now to try to get post count up... oh right im at 104

wish i had of noticed this sooner as i made a massive order elsewhere in order to get free shipping

maybe when a user gets to 100 posts then they should be reminded via email, as its something quite important to me and im guessing it may be a deciding factor for most?

How much was the postage from ocuk if you don't mind me asking?

It would be KIND OF cool if you could have half the cost for people on the forum in foreign countries!
I just payed 21 pounds for delivery with DHL lol :p 10 pounds would be very nice, I understand I can't have free as the people in the same country but at least something would be cool and would make us purchase more.

Deducting the UK delivery price from overseas shipping costs would be fair.

The shipping charge is there for a reason, we still pay it, just because the shipping is free to you, doesn't mean it is free for us. :)

I realise this. I was just thinking that as loyalty rewards go, if you deducted the UK shipping costs from overseas customers (who would otherwise qualify for free shipping) then everyone would get the same benefit (and OCUK would be subsiding to the same amount). But that's obviously your call :)

Exactly that. Why not, if you do it for your normal UK customers anyway? I'm not trying to troll or anything, just some feedback. If it doesn't happen it's ok, if it does happen it's great :)

Is there some sort of protection mechanism to prevent people creating a bot account which just posts random data on random thread until the required post count is met? Or even manually making spam posts!!?

On another note, I hope I can get to the post count in time to get some decent offer, the shipping is usually the only reason I am put off buying from OCUK!

Yes, they get banned. :)

Are small orders that you send via Royal Mail still free for people living in Northern Ireland? I can understand couriers charging more but for RM it is still the same price. I'm after some RAM if that helps.

Thanks,

Tom
