Horner - Hard luck Checo, there was an issue with the virtual safety car, it should have ended earlier. But it looked like he just got the jump on you.

Horner starting the excuses now.

Russell pit radio - So, double podium, well done.

Russell - Yes, come on! Nicely done. Nicely done. Was a good restart, good restart. Well done guys. Brilliant result.

Cheeky one by George there to get P3. Great work on the restart.

Ferrari still going some to making Merc look good mind. Let’s not get too excited.

P2 for Hamilton’s 300th GP is great to see.

How can the rule be if your front wheel is past your opponent’s rear wheel it’s your corner. Doesn’t make sense. The sport would be unworkable!!

Russell with his wheel to wheel, bloody front wing drove into the back of Perez's wheel

Russell got lucky that Perez avoided it and kept the position otherwise Russell probably gets a penalty.

I think he meant that means the guy you’re overtaking needs to leave space and can’t do a tank slapper across the front of you to force you to hit the brakes. (Like Perez tried)
Verstappen has a face like a slapped arse even though he's won..
He was looking at Hamilton wishing he could be that cool :p

Russell was saying they were wheel to wheel going into the corner so he had the right to go for it, thing is he was nowhere near wheel to wheel at any point of the corner.

I still think it's a bit of a sketchy definition that promotes lunges but as published, George perhaps has a point regarding the "significant portion" of his car alongside. The counter to that is whether he did so in a "safe and controlled manner"...

1. Guidelines for overtaking on the inside of a corner:

“In order for a car being overtaken to be required to give sufficient room to an overtaking car, the
overtaking car needs to have a significant portion of the car alongside the car being overtaken and
the overtaking manoeuvre must be done in a safe and controlled manner, while enabling the car to
clearly remain within the limits of the track.

When considering what is a ‘significant portion’ for an overtaking on the inside of a corner, among
the various factors that will be looked at by the stewards when exercising their discretion, the
stewards will consider if the overtaking car’s front tires are alongside the other car by no later than
the apex of the corner.”
