That is a 3 pin fan header for a case fan.

No way no how can this cause damage to multiple parts.

All my fans are connected directly to my PSU. If they told you having a 3 pin fan plugged into a molex caused damage, then they don't know what they are talking about.

That looks like the pump for the CPU cooler plugged into Molex, Standard practice, nothing out of the ordinary here?

That is connected fine, the 3rd wire is for speed feedback.

As others have said, that cable you have posted is a cable for the fan, it looks absolutely fine.
It seems that company are making up what they're telling you.

My pump power cable also comes from the PSU. Even with the pump disabled, my 4.5GHz CPU does not come close to overheating at full load.

Show us the other side of the case so we can see inside

And look at the other connections like 4/8 pin cpu and 24p ATX
