Yeah if they've diagnosed the GPU as faulty just let OcUK know and they can get this swapped for you (you would need to remove the card from system though and send it in)

Don't do this going by Silicon Centre's advice on the cable being the cause of the issue. There might be nothing wrong with the GPU and it'll leave the OP out of pocket if he sends back a perfectly good GPU.
 
just going by what they told me but anyway my comp is still busted and wont power up and thats with new psu

I hope silicon didn't fit that PSU, they probably would put your PC beyond repair if their diagnosis is anything to go by.
 
yes i did and was all labelled up and ive fitted many parts to comps,was doing exactly the same thing when old power supply was in the machine
 
Have you got the 4/8 pin cpu power lead connected up

Just check that all connections are fully pushed in and the Ram is in correct you may of caught a ram stick when you fitted psu up
 
computer was not touched when it happened the first time,was just powered on and left alone & i heard it powering down on its own
