Such a price disparity shouldn't really happen unless either one station is privately owned or one station is price gouging. Was £1.619/l for Momentum on Thursday.
30p Diff atm between Petrol and Diesel, kinda totally defeats the object of having a diesel!
i assumed it would be like every "catastrophe"-related rise; the price bombs up say 10p, then when things calm down and resolve the price goes down maybe 3 ~ 5p, because they can sly in a bit more profit and everyone's so sick of the +10p they feel they're getting a bargain at +5p.How long is petrol going to remain at these prices - with the opec+ output reduction I keep doing a double take it has not shot up,
knowing I will regret not having filled the tank up in advance of the increase.
Local delinquents have none the less accepted current price as the new normal and any sense of moderating use of the accelerator on a popular section of country NSL is gone.
Up in Durham there is now a 30p difference between petrol and diesel. Absolutely insane!
156.9 petrol
186..9 diesel
Any idea what is causing such a large deviation?Up in Durham there is now a 30p difference between petrol and diesel. Absolutely insane!

Every BP I pass is at least 3p more than everywhere else locally. I haven’t bought BP fuel for years and years.I don't ever fill up at motorways, and try my best to never use BP wherever they are due the gouging they engage in.
Was this a motorway service station? And do you pay for your own fuel? I’m guessing you must have been running on fumes too?
