Usually average 24-25mpg in the ST220 with mostly town driving, generally happy with that, not happy with the price of petrol though!
Told at my local gas station today that their prices would be going up by 5p on Monday and definitely by another 5p on April 1st with other likely further regular increases between those two dates
To the people that fill their tanks up for their normal driving (i.e not for long trips of 100+miles), you do realise that your MPG is also affected by the extra weight you are carrying.
Example - the guy that said he put 68 litres of petrol in his car is carrying an extra 50kg around with him (1 litre of petrol weighs approx 0.737kg) Obviously I aint saying he can run on no petrol but if he had, say, half a tank then he cuts his weight by 25KG....

Can anyone confirm that the petrol's going up by 5p on monday? If it definitely is, I'll likely go fill up today.
Good point - I've got into the habit of carrying all manner of rubbish in my boot - probably in excess of 50-70kg. Will this make enough of a difference to notice?
If everyone read the road better and avoided needless acceleration they would massively reduce fuel costs. The amount if people I go in a car with who accelerate to red lights etc.
Correct tyre pressures also help.

Given some people are raving about their economy going up by a few MPG's on here, it would appear some might.
