Fuel up/down again

Having said BP is the most expensive place I have seen, its actually the cheapest when I filled up earlier in the Oxford area. Tesco being the most!

I paid 128.9p per litre this morning for Tescos 99 so with the VAT rise on the 4th it will be around 132p per litre. It pretty much cost £40 for 31 litres.

Just shy of £90 to fill my e39 tonight, 70 litre tank iirc - I used to put that much (in monetary terms) into my old e38 which had an 85 litre tank to fill. :(

Bah.

Time to get the Pinarello out a bit more often this year for the commute methinks. One of my new year resolutions anyway.

£80 to fill the Monaro and it's lasting 180 miles at the moment!

I'm so glad I changed my plans, was getting the same with my BMW but then I had to fill up again just for the weekend  £50 now gets me 250 - 300 miles with a car doing 0-60 in under 4 secs :D

Good job i don't do that many miles. Looks like ill be saving my b-road blasts, and trips for the hell of it, till the summer.

What car are you driving that does 0-60 under 4 secs?.

As annoying as the price of fuel is, the price could double and I wouldn't stop driving. I'd maybe do less pointless miles but the freedom of having a car and my general hatred for public transport means there isn't much that would stop me feeding my cars petrol addiction.
