Poll: Game of The Year 2017

Whilst the list looks a bit limited, I had to vote for D:OS2. I'm only at level 12 in the second main area, but already it's just so good, and I am totally hooked.

PUBG for me, the day I installed it was when all other games got totally neglected! Not played anything else since.

PUBG for me as others have said I’ve not stoped playing it for the past 3 months! Most addictive game apart from wow that I have ever played... just every game feels different & fun. It’s also very stressful but can’t help but die win die die win & repeat... best game for me in 2017 One main thing for me is playing in a fun community. Never had this with any of the other pc games I play.

Selection is a bit iffy as its a mix of single and multiplayer games so the results will be skewed depending on which you like the best.

Nier Automata for me , multiple playthroughs and it never gets boring.

However Destiny 2 is taking up all of my play time at the moment and that game had me upgrade my graphics card and monitor.

Nothing has captured my attention like this game, I’ve also met some awesome guys from here online and the moments it delivers are up there as some of my fondest gaming memories.

I'm quite surprised by its backing for GOTY too, I enjoyed it, was a good game, not a GOTY in my book though. But then again, different tastes for different folks and all that.

Had to vote for PUBG as it's the only one on the list that I've played, but I have played 225 hours since September. My actual game of the year would have to be MotorSport Manager. It has its flaws, but I've put 632 hours into it this year. It's a great game, especially with the recent updates.

out of curiosity, why do you think exclusively multiplayer games shouldn't win?

I agree with him; for me at least, GOTY should be a game you can pick up again in 10+ years and it's still fantastic - MMOs excluded, how many exclusively multiplayer games are still in existence with a decent sized playerbase after 10 years?

Counterstrike? Must admit PUBG is my GOTYand I am not the greatest fans of online only. It has those moments of emergant gameplay that makes it more than the sum of its parts. Every game is completely different which despite its fairly simple premise makes some singler player games seem limited.
