Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon

Just caught this.
Some of the online opinions on this episode are absolute bs...

I went into this thinking it was going to fall asleep based on half the reviews and it was really solid first episode, entertaining cast and its nice to see some of the GOT style dynamics being forged right from the get go.

I get the hate for the last season of GOT, but this felt like some of the opinions were just being formed out of spite.

Agree

One thing I think that they have learned from game of thrones is the lighting. It seems much improved in this. Even dark scenes are clearly defined and it’s easy to see everything. GoT used to have me having to get up and move closer to the TV at times.

Decent episode again that felt more like GOT with the politics and plots to get people where they want them on the board.

The whole Dragonstone scene was tense and seeing the dragon appear out of the fog felt like nightmare fuel.
