Games you're playing, and games...

@Kreeeee As in, I don't like a lot of games, so don't take it that you'll enjoy it just because I like this one.
Think your mind added an 'it' to what I said :)

Got the free Cyberpunk upgrade, so decided to restart the entire game - feels like it runs a lot better now, and the city feels much busier than the original release; still a few bugs mind, but quite enjoying getting back into it.

Guardians of the galaxy. It looks a bit washed out in performance mode, but it’s a great game. I went from ‘I must persevere’ to ‘where did those first few hours go and I must have lunch, soon…’. Brilliantly well written too.

PS5 for the best exclusives and XSX Gamepass for everything else is one brilliant combo.

Really enjoying Control. It’s one of those games that I would play all night if I could. The destruction is fantastic, bits of concrete flying everywhere. I wish more games had this sort of realism.

Currently hooked on Monster Hunter Stories 2 on Switch. About 75hrs in and still really enjoying the monster hunting aspect and about halfway through the main story. Definitely a recommendation if you're into Jrpg's and collecting.

Is there any point playing if I don't watch Marvel films? Does it have merit by itself as my experience of movie based games is generally terrible.

The combat is average, but the characters and their interactions are still great without having seen the films. Why not just give it a try as it’s on game pass.

Agreed, the combat is bang average, but I’ve been impressed with the level by which they maintain the humour. It’s so well written. It’s my main game now.

I will, just interested to hear other people's experience I guess. Plus I have to juggle my storage space as I'm the sort to download everything I think I might play in future and no way am I buying that £200 storage add on.

That's like me, I can't be spending that kind of money on some extra storage, I know you can connect a usb drive though. I just try to complete a game before I move onto the next, and only have 2-3 main games I play on and off installed at once, such as MSFS2020, Horizon 5. Im currently playing CP2077 and want to finish that (main story at least) and then likely uninstall it and move on to Elden Ring.
It creates a backlog, but I don't care so much now days, it helps in that new games might be cheaper or on game pass by the time I get around to playing them and also they would have been patched a lot to fix any bugs.
