Games you're playing, and games...

Got several things on the go - a bit of Inside, one planet at-a-time for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the odd puzzle here and there in The Talos Principle and finally The Quarry.

Throwback time. World at War Zombies Co op. Probably the most fun I've ever had online. My cousin said to give at another go.. so time to rekindle some of that fun...

I loved Until Dawn but didn’t like Man of Medan at all and dropped it quite quickly - maybe I didn’t give it a fair shot. Still need to play The Quarry.
I think man of Medan was just a side project. The production values of the quarry are much higher.

Edit. The cast is great too. Halston sage is a stunner :D

Most of the dark pictures games have been really good, Little Hope, Man of Medan and House of Ashes were all great fun and not too long to play each.
I have played Man of Medan and House of Ashes and thought they were pretty good. I havnt played little hope yet tho even though i have it on Plus. I have been keeping an eye out for a cheap copy of The Devil In Me but not seen anything yet. I really loved Until Dawn and though the The Quarry was pretty good as well. I REALLY enjoy that they use real actors and mo cap them and get them to do the voice work. Until Dawn and The Quarry definitely had a much bigger budget for these games and it shows with some really good mainstream actors in the roles. I think my favs were Hayden Panettiere, Brett Dalton, Rami Malek and Peter Stormare in Until Dawn and David Arquette, Halston Sage (Yep, hubba hubba) and the man, the legend, Bishop from Aliens Lance Henrikson.

Decided on Diablo 4 - Loving it so far, a real treat! Went Barbarian :D

Question on saving..does it save automatically or can you manual save? I was playing yesterday, then left it running whilst I was in one of the villages, came back that night and I had been disconnected, and appears to have lost some progress (not a lot) but curious to know was that just a blip or does it time out and lose connectivity?

It saves automatically you do have to exit the game and logout at the end of a session.

I think it depends on what you’re doing. Quest steps save at the start of each step but yeah if you’re mid something it might take you back a bit but it’s never a lot.

MSFS 2020 mostly.

A little bored with most games lately, but I may play some RDR2 again as that game always pulls me back in, has such good replayability. Although I completed the story I’ve never fully explored everything else or completed all the side stuff, so I always discover something new when I play it.

Wolfenstein:The Old Blood, that's what I love about Gamepasss you give stuff a go regardless of it not being the latest/greatest AAA title and I'm glad I did, its a really enjoyable blast. Proper old school FPS with a good variety of weapons, a balanced difficulty level, and not over complicated so its just a case of running through and shooting anything that moves.

I really enjoy simple games like that from time to time, haven't played any of the newer Wolfenstein titles so maybe it's time to check them out.

I feel like I need something like Serious Sam now, not in the mood for another bloated open-world:P

Finally went back to finish off Cyberpunk 2077. I knew I was near the end but never realised how much, I had cleaned up all side quests on the map, there was zero jobs left to do except returning Skippy the gun.

Went into the last mission and absolutely destroyed everything in sight, way OP, super tank build with good hacking abilities and super powerful pistols/shotgun with melee weapon means I was taking out a crowd of NPC with my homing shotgun with 1 shot, each bullet landing with about 14k damage. It made a mince meat of those walking robots which should have been difficult but it was down with 1 round of shotgun. The fight was Adam I thought I would mix it up with using the Vibrator lol just kept wacking him but he ran away after a while. Fight was over in about 30s.

I've barely touched my gaming PC since I picked up a Switch OLED, and I've not even touched Zelda: TOTK yet (saving that for my week holiday in July).
Its just handy having the Switch there, I can pick it up and put it down as I want and just play some stuff without much thought, really enjoying Advance Wars Remastered, FM2023 Touch and running through the Witcher 3 for the first time.... might need to source Skyrim as well!

Only really turning the PC on to play Warzone 2, not touched MSFS in weeks either
