Games you're playing, and games...

just not long starded Shadow Of Mordor on the Series X. Good game so far, very assassins creed like.

I have Shadow Of War to play through after this, and apparently it is is better, so cannot wait to play that also!

Currently hooked on Dead Space Remastered. I never played the original, ok, ok I played it for about 30mins and was bored. Ok OK! Look I'm playing it now and it's incredible. So glad I watched the movie beforehand to set the scene.
I'm up to chapter 7 now and things are really ramping up.

I just need to get used to 30fps again, but I figure I may as well with Starfield on the way. I might try the Samsung motion settings on my tv.
You do get used to it after a while. It’s such a cinematic game it doesn’t really suffer as it’s not mega fast action. Felt ok to me anyway.

Finished Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - A really good game, the combat was better than the first, and story was pretty good too, couldn't really be bothered getting all of the side stuff and never changed my lightsabre or BD-1 once!

Performance was ok on PS5, seemed to have a few rough bits now and again, and also some of the character models looked quite fuzzy at times, enjoyed my time with it though :)

I've been playing Cyberpunk 2077 on and off for a good few months but I'm currently off work sick after surgery so bored out of my skull and the Xbox X is a welcome distraction.

I'm at the part where you need to meet 'Hanako at Embers' which is essentially a 'point of no return' storyline wise so im completing all the side missions and gigs before continuing.

I also picked up Red Dead Redemption 2 last week and played through the first 25 mins or so. The game was on offer on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate recently for £18 so I thought I might as well grab it.

Finally, dipping in and out of Redfall. Very linear game with its obvious faults but entertaining for a quick hour at a time, I find.

Purchased this yesterday, better than the first and I’m finding the performance fine so far playing on resolution mode on ps5.

Continuing my MGS series replay with MGS4. It runs like a bag of nails at times but gameplay wise it's great, the combat feels really fluid and punchy compared to previous entries and the sheer volume of weapons and options on offer really helps to mix things up. Not a big fan of the bosses in this one though, they aren't particularly fleshed out as characters like they were in previous games and only seem to exist to punctuate each act.

Yeah definitely, I think 95% of the time it was superb, just the odd glitch when traversing around or getting stuck in a wall - Preferred this much more than Fallen Order :)

Not sure what to play next.... I always say Im going to replay a game but then at the same time I feel I should play something new i've not played before! :P

Do you need to have completed Fallen Order? I played a couple of hours of it and it was fine bit didn't entirely grip me for a couple of reasons. Survivor looks much better, like what they intended the first one to be.

Not necessarily, I guess it is good to know the characters in that respect, you do get a Fallen Order recap, but you can absolutely play Survivor without playing Fallen Order

After this I might give Bramble a go on Xbox gamepass, keep hearing good things.

Just watch the recap and save yourself the headache of navigating the map mazes and the added feature of no fast travel In the first one.

Damn that totally blanked my mind, was there no fast travel in the first one? Maybe that's why I preferred this one lol - That was a god send in Survivor! I felt getting all the collectibles was really tedious and the only rewards was getting cosmetics
