Games you're playing, and games...

I didn’t mind the tailing too much. Yagami was a brilliant character as was the yakuza boss in the white suit. Brilliant VA on both. The more refined combat bodes well for the future if they ever go back to it after the change up in Like a Dragon.

They were supposed to keep the classic combat for Judgment games and Yakuza (now LaD) was to adopt the jrpg combat but since Judgment is most likely over and the new Kiryu game doesn't seem to be turn-based at all judging by the last trailer, I don't know what they're planning from now on.

Finished MGS4, great game but also rather disappointing in so many ways after having just played the previous three. The bosses aren't interesting at all, there's hardly anyone to talk to on the codec and they just repeat the same lines over and over, and the game throws weapons at you towards the end of the game where there aren't really any good opportunities to use them. Also, as much as MGS games have always been known to be bit pervy, this one feels particularly inappropriate at times. I wonder if they'll make any edits when it gets a re-release next year.

Anyway, I think I'm done with my PS3 replays for a while now so next on my list is probably the Callisto Protocol DLC.

Stray - Lovely little game! I wasnt really all that fussed when I saw that you play a cat... but couldn't decide what to play, fired it up and loving it! The style and the cyberpunk world really clicks, some nice puzzly bits too :)

Not a game I thought I would play but very much enjoying it so far :D

I finished it a few weeks a go and definitely worth sticking with till the end. Enjoy!

After completing FF16, I decided to replay Remnant From The Ashes (it runs great on ps5). It's still a cracking game and my muscle memory should be tuned for the sequel at the end of the month. I've already decided that I'm going with the dog handler class as the dog looks similar to my own husky / German Shepherd Cross.

Great game, It was the first game I played when I purchased my PS5 last year. I wanted to platinum it, but the speed run trophy was not something I wanted to attempt.

I really enjoyed this as well and found it to be a charming game with really likeable characters that made me smile.

I just grabbed remnant off steam for about £10 so giving it a go before the sequel comes out, I too will be going with the dog

Ooh! You should have grabbed the complete edition from Humble Choice for £8.99!

EDIT: And I'm off my trolley. That was last month's bundle. So ignore me. :D

Been hyping myself up for Remnant 2 this week but never played the first.
Feels odd, no thread on here about it, hardly any footage online, no reviews, comes out in less than two weeks weirdly on a tuesday, cheap (actually cheaper on PSN store than buying it from a shop). I am even contemplating pre ordering it. What's the catch??

Enjoying the Callisto Protocol DLC, Final Transmission. It's more of the same but has some new enemy types and some decent psychological horror bits which the first definitely lacked. If you enjoyed the main game, you'll like this.

Just done with Final Fantasy XVI and looked into Red Dead 2 as well. I played through it on PS4 years ago and forgot about the PC version. Not sure if I want to commit for now. I'll probably go back to Control and all the RT glory.

Hooked on Red Dead 2. It’s gorgeous on an OLED, especially at night.

Possibly Far Cry 6 next, although that’s not going to be soon I th
RDR2 is huge you’ll be at it for a while. Agreed though it looks stunning on an OLED glad I waited to play after I got mine which was just before the PS5 came out. I am thinking of replaying it again soon.

Bloodborne - Having played it god knows how many times to get into it, succeed or anything really just to get passed the first couple of hours I have always just rage quit

Played it over the weekend again and something just clicked all of a sudden, taking my time, exploring working out enemies, using the parry system...I feel like this is the time to hopefully check this game off my list

Tips of course welcome! :D
