Games you're playing, and games...

I've upgraded my weapons as far as I can for now, I have no problem killing enemies and my medic triage skill is upgraded all the way. I don't die easy but the dungeons are unforgiving, I'd much rather just be running around following others who know what they are doing in a blast fest hence why I jump into other peoples games mostly.
Well i don't have the 2nd one yet so I can't team up but there is a remnant 2 thread, I'm sure if you posted in there you could find some guys to team up with.

I've never tried VR, is it worth it? Whats the best headsets these days?

My only real experience is with the PSVR2 so I can't comment on others, but I'm really pleased with it. There's a healthy selection of games available too, and they're mostly priced quite reasonably. It's a total luxury to be able to have one so it's certainly not an essential purchase but I've been impressed with it. One of the best things has been Walkabout Mini Golf, it's meant I've been able to get together with two friends who I rarely see and play a round of minigolf every week. One has a PSVR2 and the other has the original Meta Quest, it works brilliantly.

Grabbed myself a copy of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice...Brilliant so far, loving it! Addicted - Instantly got Ghost of Tsushima vibes, really looking forward to getting stuck in - The Japanese setting is gorgeous

First few enemies and trying to learn the patterns and the timing, feels like a challenging game and i'm all for it!

The first playthrough of Sekiro is amazing, you'll love it.

Wanting to scratch the motorcycle itch, I purchased Moto GP 22 on PSN - 9 quid, so worth the punt. Not a GP fan tbh, think the last time I watched it was back in 2009, but it seems to handle much better than the previous iterations

It's awesome - Coming from Bloodborne it feels so much quicker and more fluid in a way, Also weirdly feels like Assassins Creed which completely throws me at times with the roof top slinging about - but then reality sets in, its FromSoftware - Still getting to grips with it mind!

Drowning in games, lol.

Progressing through school stories in Lost Judgment and jumping into Bloodborne from time to time while doing my 5th run of RE4:P

Also, did a few missions in AC6 yesterday and it's super-fun even though I'm not too big on mechs.

Oh, and I should be doing practice drills in SF6 in some alternate universe with 48h days:D

It's so/so. The planet doesn't feel like it fits within the game. Didn't take long to complete the campaign really.

Just didn't want to be too left behind when it comes to final shape.

Destiny, in all its forms, is a game I’ve been bouncing back and forth off now for years. Really enjoyed the Witch Queen but the recent additions with the dumb giant surfer fellas and such just really haven’t grabbed me. The game economy with all the various materials, currencies and such has become very unwieldy to the point I cannot be bothered with it anymore. Annoying since i paid for the season pass…

Witch queen was great, i soon lost interest after that and stopped playing. I've not played any of the new dlc. The seasons were just the same crap in a different package over and over so i gave up with it.

Totally agree, imo they need to completely reset the franchise. The basic gameplay is good but, as you say, it’s just the same content reskinned over and over.

Recently been trying to get back to some single player games. Playing some Far cry 6 but, after completing the first section of the map, I looked at the rest of it and thought ‘there’s so much left and I cba doing the same thing in the next 5’. Might tey and go back to it.

Loaded up AC Odyssey tonight and played a couple of hours. Seems ok but might end up in the same boat as FC6.

Downloaded Days Gone tonight so will give that a go soon. Although all of them will possibly take a back seat when Starfield gets released, which will also likely end up in the aforementioned boat.

Any recommendations for good, tight single player games that aren’t sprawling open worlds? That aren’t TLoU…

I just finished atomic heart which i thought was good and didn't take too long to complete.
I’d noticed that game come up in GPU reviews but it didn’t really register. Just checked out a short youtube video and it looks interesting so will give it a try, thanks.

Wait… is it on GP or ps plus? Every time i buy a game is seems to end up on one or the other fairly quickly after :D

I've been played Rider's Republic and it's a good, fun chill game.
They did a few free to play weekends on that game a little while ago and I ended up playing it with a few friends. We all really enjoyed it, relaxing and chill at times and the global races were really fun.

I almost bought a used copy super cheap yesterday on PS5 but declined thinking ther ewill be a small player base - particularly at the hours I play.
