Games you're playing, and games...

Going back to Assassins Creed Unity, kind of wish I hadn't... Dreadful, graphically it looks like a poor PS3 title. I will try and persevere though.
There is a trick via PS5 disk if you dont update the game it runs at an unlocked framerate and it is amazing to play it that way. If you patch it it is awful.

Jeez the opening area of the DLC is brutal, I am around level 120 and getting annihilated in places, made it through a blood river and went into a tunnel thinking it was a safe area.... and there was a bloke with some kind of machine gun! lol

Feels like this is going to be a fun ride!

Yeah, the DLC is pretty tough, the first boss is also on the harder side but I think my favourite in the game overall. All the areas and bosses are really good so you'll have fun for sure.

You know From, the difference between level 10 and 120 is that you can survive 3 seconds longer:P

Playing Witcher 3 PS5 jobby - just started the Blood and Wine expansion, but it's got an annoying problem with the sky flickering, which I understand is a problem on Xbox as well; tried the cache fix but alas. Loved the B&W expansion the last time I finished it, so glad to sink my time into it again

Started Dark Pictures: The Devil in Me co-op with a friend the other night on PS5. Certainly the buggiest of the series so far, and you can't even invert the Y-axis controls as the menu won't let you save the settings (and like most games, it completely ignores the system-side control settings). Supermassive Games seem to be having some serious issues with quality control lately.

Played a bit more of this last night and encountered more bugs, including a progress-breaking one which required both of us to reload the game to a previous scene and replay a small chunk. So disappointing, especially when it's not even a new game.

Far Cry New Dawn.

Haven't been able to put it down. It's one of those where I have to go round the map collecting everything.

I had the same skybox issue.. just ignored it in the end as it’s a fantastic bit of dlc. Literally a whole games worth !

Currently playing Football Manager 2023 Mobile edition.

I am enjoying it a LOT lol reminds me a lot of the old Championship Manager. It might look simple but having tried 45mins of the full PC version i prefer this much more. PC one is too deep.

2nd season as Man United Manager, won the league again and about to play my 2nd CL final. Bid for Bellingham when the window was shut, he was still in Dortmund and it interrupted him so bad that his manager sidelined him and forced him out and managed to get him for £14mil + Casemiro (32yr old).

Old Hunters DLC complete! :D

Laurence, Ludwig, Lady Maria, Living Failures and Orphan of Kos all slain - Really enjoyed this DLC.

Orphan of Kos and Maria were the hardest bosses, they were so quick and dealt ridiculous damage

Off to see me old mate Gehrman to complete the base game and wrap this masterpiece up :)

Mentioned it in the PSVR2 thread but I'll mention it here too; Red Matter 2 is excellent, one of the best VR games I've played yet. I know everyone is calling for HL ALyx but this feels like a pretty solid substitute so far.

Crikey, Sekiro is £59.99 on psn, was looking forward to diving into it but that's steep...

Any cheaper places?

I've never tried VR, is it worth it? Whats the best headsets these days?
Bit of a gimmick imo. Some games are good, definitely worth a try although most of the none on rails type games made me seasick :D

It’s a high price point to jump in with the PSVR 2, I’ve not tried one but did play a lot on PSVR 1 but to be honest for price and accessibility try the meta quest. Graphically on par if not better than the PSVR1 and totally wireless plus you can also access web content easier to see certain gentlemen’s content that really needs to be experienced once. Or maybe twice. :o
Loads for sale on marketplace of people who have dived in and found it isn’t for them.

I’m giving up on Remant 2. It’s just too hard solo and I don’t have the patience. I haven’t even completed half of the first level.
I have been jumping in on weekends with randoms for hours at a time but the story progression doesn’t translate to single player. I’m a decent level now but still have all the same armour and weapons I started with so running around like a total noob with me peashooter while everyone else is firing off energy weapons and wearing super cool armour and my medic is behind them in a caretakers coat with a bag over my head looking an absolute wrongun.
I love the gunplay and playing in a team of three is great, I just have no desire to go through the campaign. I bought it expecting it to be like the division but it’s very different.

If its like the first game you have to upgrade your gear to get stronger.

I've upgraded my weapons as far as I can for now, I have no problem killing enemies and my medic triage skill is upgraded all the way. I don't die easy but the dungeons are unforgiving, I'd much rather just be running around following others who know what they are doing in a blast fest hence why I jump into other peoples games mostly.
