Games you're playing, and games...

Can I transfer you the points I earned? Never going to use them. Think I had enough for $10 but not sure if it auto applies balance

LOL, I wish you could, matey but alas not. Just convert them into Xbox gift cards and put it towards a subscription or game.

On my hunt for completing the 10,000 Gamer Score point reward i'm playing games I normally wouldn't have tried and having fun doing so.

Just finished The Little Acre, albeit a very basic and cartoony game was an easy 1000 points but enjoyed it none the less.

Playing Ori and the Blind Forest right now, although have played this before on PC but wanted to finish it again before moving to the second one.

And that's The Gardens Between done. Decent little puzzle game, though quite short. Full 1000G in that one too.

What Remains of Edith Finch next.

@ic1male True Achievements has a list here. Tell Me Why and Deliver Us The Moon are supposed to be easy points too.

Thanks for the Fractured minds suggestion, very quick and easy 1000g.

Started Gardens between, not sure about that, so might not bother, unless they are super quick I like to play games I will enjoy, tell me why and deliver us the moon are enjoyable though, I think the tell me why requires two playthroughs to get full 1000g, which I didn't bother doing as that would feel like a grind.

Gardens Between is 2-3 hours depending on how good you are at solving the puzzles. Two/three levels aside, I found the game quite easy TBH.

Most of the achievements are found during the clips between worlds; you manipilate time until an object glows, wait a few seconds, and get an achievement. The last few pretty much need a guide if you want to do them quickly as they're hidden in levels.

I see, I may give it another go some time then, I might play call of the sea first as been wanting try that.

Finished Halo 5 - it was OK, the story was a bit all over the place and there wasn't much gameplay variety. Its finished in a good place for the next one though.

Think I'll have a go at State of Decay 2 next.

Halo 5 is great in arenas online, but the campaign is one of the worst.

Enjoying state it decay 2 so far. Seems they’ve put some work into this since launch. It’s a great way to lose some hours. It’ll likely become stale like the first did pretty quickly, but it’s enjoyable enough while it lasts. Runs great on the X too.

Is there still no 'current gen' games on xbox or are you just choosing to play older titles as they are on GP?

Mostly playing the X enhanced titles, a few back compat titles as well as newer games like AC, WD. You could argue that some titles like Gears 5 are near next gen given the tech they’ve added. As for strict current gen, not yet.

Quite looking forward to The Medium - looks interesting.

Hmm I thought there was the Medium out but I've obviously got that wrong. I assume that would launch on PC too actually so I would have seen it.
Quite enjoyed state of decay, it's quite enjoyable despite it's shortcomings.

Not yet, but The Medium looks interesting.

State of Decay sure isn’t as complete as it could be, but there aren’t too many games like it. The 3rd iteration should be good now that Microsoft are throwing money at it.

Yeah it should be much improved. If there was a way for me to use my PS controller on the X I'd have one as a side console as I don't get on with the controller, not sure I could stomach paying for the elite one either to get round that.

That is such a cool little game. Really enjoyed the few hours I spent with it today.

How does the elite help you with the controller issue? If it’s the stick shape you can change the sticks very easily.

I'm assuming it doesn't have the same tacky texture on the grips and the noisy dpad.

Can you use the X1 pad with it? Had no issue with that one

The Elite has a similar texture but slightly more rubberized and the same noisy dpad.

All Xbox One accessories work on the Series consoles.

Oh that's a shame. May just go with my new pc plan then. I have an unofficial but licenced xbox controller on my pc and I love it (PowerA) it's a bit smaller and has a normal dpad that doesn't click loud. same texture all over too.

As a few others have said, getting a little burnt out with AC: Valhalla, will start Call of the Sea soon, currently playing The gardens between on game pass.
