Games you're playing, and games...

I've started the latest addition to Game Pass - "The Wild At Heart". It's really good, first time I've ever played a Pikmin-type game.

I started playing Knockout City. It is a fun dodgeball game which is very easy to get into. Its free at the moment and definitely worth a try. I think people with Gamepass ultimate get to carry on playing after the free week.

Just finished Quantum Break on game pass. A really interesting concept for blending games with a tv series.

I enjoyed it a lot It’s not as good as Alan Wake as a game but the characters are stronger.

Remedy certainly make better characters than Naughty Dog, I look forward to playing Control next.

Update on my current Sekiro play through. In the last few days elite ashina (2 attempts, Genricho (3 attempts), both centipedes (1st go), watermill lady (1st attempt), the ape (3 attempts) and the black Knight (4 attempts) have all died. I have acquired the mortal blade.

I now need to clean up missed items from the roof bit after the black Knight with the rats. Followed by the first corrupted monk or folding monkeys (probàbly monkeys as I always struggle with the monk).

Just finished Call of the Sea. Decent looking game with a story that just gets weirder and weirder as you move further in to the island. Gameplay centres around puzzle solving, with most being pretty straightforward. Needed a notepad & pen for the last one though; not a hard puzzle, but difficult to keep track of without some notes.

I'd give it a 7/10.

Next game? Not sure. Suffering some choice paralysis with Game Pass at the moment.

Cyberpunk 2077, I repurchased it recently and its pretty good so far, a lot better than at launch, taking my time exploring the city which is great.

I'm not rushing it though as hopefully more patches will keep improving it, so will just play a little now and again for now.

Might try Quantum Break mentioned above.

Use this to either sort by highest rating or likely leaving soon to choose your game:

I'm playing State of Decay 2 (Gamepass) & Ride 4 mainly at the moment, while i wait for a 4k60 update for Snowrunner which i stopped playing quite a while ago (i haven't tried the dlc maps yet).

I'm really enjoying SOD2, it's been a long time since i played the first one.

The shark game, Maneater, is now on Game Pass. I played for half an hour or so. The graphics look pretty for starters but I found the controls a bit confusing. Not sure whether I want to continue with it. Probably need to start from the beginning again so I can refresh my memory with the controls - problems of getting older is you've forgotten everything by the time the tutorial ends. :D

Monster hunter rise 3.0 update was solid. Kinda hoped for more fights but they went for quality over quantity (though tbf almost all the new monsters released are quality).

I picked up a day one edition of metal gear solid 5 phantom pain used for £4 yesterday, it even still had the map. The disk was a little grubby so I used a slightly damp microfibre cloth to wipe it all clean very gently and then used a dry one to dry it. To be super safe I then left it for an hour to dry shiny side up.

It worked great and runs at 60fps on the ps5 so a nice bargain pickup.

What do people think of “Remnant: From the Ashes”? I heard it was a Borderlands beater. I’ve only played about twenty minutes but not sure if it’s even the same genre. I haven’t found any chests to loot yet. :D

You need to play it with friends. I found it to be a fantastic 3 player coop game.

I actually quite enjoyed maneater! :D just mindlessly chomping on stuff. I think the game is great (especially when you get to the semi open ocean waters)

I tried Maneater yesterday. Did the tutorial and some of the first level. Didn't like it, uninstalled after an hour.

People who've played "Call of the Sea" - was it difficult to play without using a guide? I'm currently wazzing through it quickly to gain some cheevo points and some of the puzzles seem very mindboggling. If it is possible to solve without cheating, I'm up for playing it again properly on PS5.

Needed a guide for at least 3

No, I completed it without one.
