Games you're playing, and games...

12 minutes took some of my time this weekend.

Enjoying it more than I thought I would, as point and click's not usually my thing. I'm a little bit stuck now though and kinda surprised there's not more chatter here about the game. Anyone else playing it?

Installed it, got somewhat along, uninstalled it. Seems to be a love/hate game.

The point and click UI when using a controller annoyed me more than I thought it would. Sunk a few hours in to it, uninstalled and then watched a walk-through on yt.

Haha, the controls annoyed me much less than I thought it would when i sae gameplay previews.

I don’t think I can be too far off the ending, but a little stuck again. Seems like most of the mystery has played out, but something is stil amiss.

Back to RDR2 for me, gonna try some online.

Some of the online story missions are a bit buggy. I started RDO on Saturday and I am really enjoying it just playing solo with the occasional matchmaking. I am 40% through the single player main story campaign but I've dropped it since starting the online mode. I'll go back to it when my online enjoyment starts to wane but I am loving it so far.

Started Dishonored 2, loving it and trying to be as stealthy as possible, did the first mission and killed everyone silently (non lethal?) However I ended the mission with High chaos, Maybe I am not fully understanding how the chaos system works, I thought as the were silent kills, it equates to low chaos? or is it if you have to complete a level without any kills at all?

Don't kill innocent people.

Started playing "Recompile". I saw it in an extended demo at E3 and thought it looked intriguing. It reminds me of Tron and Darwinia. Only done about 30 minutes but so far it's kept my attention.

Low chaos is not just killing innocents as @Kreeeee says but not killing hardly anyone at all. You can choke them, put them to sleep, etc.

Ah, thanks for the correction. Looks like it’s not the same as the first game then.

I think I misread @Kerplunk 's post. I thought he said he'd killed silently and lethal. But he said non-lethal, so I'm not sure why he did get high chaos. I thought the first game was the same in that all kills had to be non-lethal to be low chaos. Now I'm confused.

I just crept up behind all the guards and used (R1) silently take them down - I didn't kill any civilians at all, no guns either

Yes, that is weird then. I think there's a little graph thing at the end of the level that tells you what you did in order to get the chaos level. Maybe there is a clue in there.

Is there a way to go back and check what it showed? I remember seeing it but can't remember what it displayed

Don't think so unless you reload a previous save (preferably near the end of the level so you don't have to do it all again). I've just had a quick play on level 1, strangled all the guards patrolling the streets, a couple of the hatters round the back of the pub and a couple of civilians for good measure. Left the bodies where they were, only reloaded when somebody spotted me and combat started. Not sure what happens if you go non-lethal assault like with the sleeping darts and get the graph in the bottom right. I should think that would still be low chaos.

Another thing perhaps, if you play as Corvo his powers can result in lethal kills such as his rat summoning. Emily seems to be better for low chaos/stealth play.

I guess it's not the end of the world, I mean I guess I can play through and play low chaos (not kill anyone) would that bring the chaos down? Or does it now stay high?

I suppose the stats don't lie and maybe I did unknowingly kill some civilians or something and whatever actions has resulted in high chaos!

If you've only played the first mission, then I think doing non-lethal for future missions will bring it down.
