Gang of boys who threw flour at disabled woman 'put under police protection for their safety'

Do any of you feel that if camera phones and social media existed when you were a youngster, you'd have been chastised for some of your actions?

I'm not saying anyone here, or myself, has done anything quite as extreme as the kids being discussed in this topic, but the confessions thread, here, does show that a lot of us were little scrotes when younger, it's just not documented at the time of the incidents. The guy who threw a brick at a passing car, what are the chances that that would be filmed in this day and age?

slap the crap out of them make them do community service then send them to the army for min of 2 years.
we have to stop been soft with kids what do this ...this is why kids are the way they are today

From my experience, not all crap parents are "namby-pamby". There are plenty of apparently "hard line" parents who, while never shy in pointing out the shortfalls of others, are totally unable to accept their talented youngster could possibly be capable of serious wrondoing.

"It's a prank that got out of hand. He's just misunderstood."

My parents have never disputed my talents and always encouraged me in that area and still do however, I felt the full force of the slap, slipper and once - the belt when I stepped out of line as a kid. My parents certainly taught me right from wrong one way or another - whichever way got me to shut up and listen..

I do agree that some parents are just as bad the other way pointing fault with everyone else's bar their own though.

However, for these reprobates - clearly there is/was a lack of encouragement and lack of interest from the parents at a young age. This is most likely the reason that those kids resent any form of normality and have a distinct lack of compassion, being in a position of neglect normally spirals the kid into lacking any sort of control/empathy and therefore show this type of behaviour.

There is simply no words for the parent that says this is going to spoil one of the lads 16th Birthday though... I wouldn't have been alive to see mine had this have been me back in the day...

I generally don’t condone violence but I’d happily give them all a baseball bat shaped dent in their faces.

maybe a year of 24/7 of at least 6-30 people doing a GOT style "SHAME" rant will good non violence or cosidering there age a year of having to wear anti masturbation gloves like the used on prisoners of old

Similar here although my father never raised his hand/belt/slipper to me. He had no qualms laying down the law to me in no uncertain terms when I was growing up though. He had quite a formidable sense of right & wrong, probably due to his time in the Army and 30 years in the Police.

I'm hesitant to judge the parents in this case, though. The media know how we all love a good pile-on and often frame stories in such a way as to encourage it. I try not to take the bait (but they are very good at it and sometimes I do, unfortunately).

Utter scum hope they live in fear over what they have done to a defenseless disabled lady

This guy on FB has a video about it shows what they were up to and were messaging him acting tough until they got scared now everyone knows who they are as there names and faces is all over the place and sounds like one of them has already been stabbed over it.

I honestly think humanity is due another black plague or something to thin the herd a bit. We have too many issues.

The problem with this is, is that sods law will determine all the decent folk will be the ones infected and the ones that actually deserve it don't.

Robin Armstrong is a legit guy for ousting these people and calling them out publicly. Naming and shaming of all wrongdoers for fear of vigilantism seems to be the only thing that gets the little scrotes running scared. Same with the TRAP community - name and shame the weeds of society and society will police itself.

Amazing how heated people get. Hardly crime of the century.

It's just weird how much frothing at the mouth there is about some kids taking things too far.

Cheering that someone's been stabbed.... I mean, that's just mental.

I just read the actual link posted by the OP

The father of one of the other boys revealed he marched his son to the local police station to confess what he had done before grounding him indefinitely.

But people said the parents were trash and to blame?

And if it was your nan?

//Thing is, these are crims, end of. They made a tit of themselves doing this but I'm willing to put money on them also being moped thugs or something. You don't torment a person like this out of the blue.
