Gary Speed Dead

Newcastle fan here. Devastated. Why do the bad things always happen to the good guys? (like Sir Bobby). R.I.P don't know what he went through to hang himself when it appears to us all he had the world at his feet.
 
I can't imagine how low and depressed someone would need to be to take their life. You'd have to be at the very lowest of human emotion to do something like that. He must be dealing with something non of us can even begin to fathom.

Suicide is always devastating. No one deserves to feel like that.
 
To think I was sat here this morning worried about a football match. Terrible, terrible news. Puts things bang back into perspective. RIP Gary.
 
Certainly can't be anything football related Wales were in better shape than they'd been in a long time and he would be embarking on his first full qualifying campaign next year his managerial career was only just getting going.

Must have had some serious demons going on.
 
One of the most shocking football related info i've seen in my life...totally out of the blue and i liked the guy a lot always gave it everything for whatever club he played for at the time.

Sad day, grew up watching him and Wales will miss a brilliant manager hope he's in a peaceful place now.:(
 
Given how many people have said they didn't see this coming and how happy he appeared, even yesterday on Football Focus, there has to be more to this unfortunately :(
