Got mine for £561, now it's £611.

Haha, I wouldn't get any enjoyment out of them 780's at that price tbh. Next year when they drop I may dabble in a couple of 780's. Tbh once my third 7950 arrives I'll bet set for like the next 2 years lol. Volta may be a better bet for an upgrade..

Can't justify the 780 at that price for myself, but perhaps the 770 might just satisfy that pesky upgrade itch (though it's still probably unnecessary coming from a 7950 at only 1080p)

If the 770 is a 780 with another SMX cluster disabled, I'd have thought it would outperform a 7950. Whether or not the upgrade can be justified however..

The 770 will be an incremental update. The 780 is actually a lot, lot closer in architecture to the Titan than it is the 680.

GK104 vs GK110

770 is highly likely to be a re-badged GK104 (680 basically) with possibly more voltage. So at 1080 the 7950s are likely to be ~10% slower when both are overclocked and this gap will widen at higher resolution.

It's a rebadged 680.

770 is just a rebranded 680. No doubt with a price hike for being 'new'. Nothing new to see here.
