It's funny how the leaders of two parties (SNP and 'Plied Cumri') who only exist on the notion that a country should be able to govern itself (and constantly want more devolved powers and even full blown independence in case of the SNP) are so in support of the UK not having independence and subject to other nations deciding our laws.

Yes indeed, utter hypocrisy.

I think Sturgeon is Merkel's younger sister.

Sturgeon seems to make a good point when she says she and her 6 colleagues on the podiums who benefited from free University education shouldn't kick the ladder away from the young generation.

What she seems to forget though is in her day only 10% of young people went to University and only if they got the highest grades, not the nigh-on 50% that expect to go now with a hanful of GSCE's and a GNVQ.

It is a shame that you'll be called a racist if you want immigration controlled a lot better than it is. It's no different to being called Anti Semitic if you're against what Israel is doing under Netanyahu.

You see, people can have an intelligent debate on immigration if they back up their reasoning with facts and figures rather faceless rants.

You have already fallen at the first hurdle with "want immigration controlled". Immigration is controlled, and is it some of the lowest rates in the developed world, and far lower than non-EU countries like USA, Canada, Australia, Switzerland and Norway.

So what other controls are needed, what is the current problem, what needs changing and why? What benefits will that bring to the UK, what will be the costs, and how shall it be implemented?

I will start the discussion with the known fact that immigration has a positive effect on UK's GDP. Now you can try to start an intelligent debate answering the above questions.

Clegg got Milliband then with asking him to apologise for crashing the economy.

Ed is obviously going for Cameron tonight as he didn't really offer a defence to Clegg's attack, just pointed out that Cameron and the Tories were just as bad.

Shame - Ed was my tip tonight but he's failed to make himself look prime ministerial quality.
