The UK is hardly crowded though is it, we have plenty of physical space so it isn't a land area issue.

Planning laws are farcical. I appreciate that Bristol is not wholly representative of the UK but here a small plot with planning for a 3 bed 1100sq ft house is £150k.

"Help to Build" only seems to exist on paper unless you are Barratts or Taylor Wimpey.

Thought Cameron came off particularly badly tonight. I know he has the hardest job, having to defend his abysmal record as PM, but from the start he looked like he just wanted to get this over and done with then get back to smear campaigns and outright lies.

You need a large amount of land for each person for farms to feed them, water to be cleaned for them to drink, power plants to provide energy, hospitals, shops etc etc. All of them need to grow relatively to the number of people in the country.

It's not as simple as saying well we can physically cram more people in. Of course we can but etc person uses far, far more space than their body personally take up in volume.

Staying positive and strong messages will only go so far, where's the money coming from? The national debt would go through the roof with any of those clowns in a position of power. Problem is, the public will lap it up, as this poll shows.

Probably because we are tired of austerity and all the lies about the deficit.

No. We use t a thing like speech\talk to a REAL person. It's time and your now old enough to go outside and meet them :)

Your using a forum right now, are the people you're engaging in not 'real' people?

You don't have to go on voting for the lesser of two evils. Now you can vote for one...

Also bit out of order she's the only one who couldn't keep her mouth shut during others speeches...

Surprised SNP/Green/Wales lady still banging the tax & spend drum, even Labour have worked out you can't borrow endlessly (whether they actually remember this if in power remains to be seen of course).

Earlier today you posted that you travel by train on bank holiday weekends because the traffic is so bad. How are we not a crowded nation?

The cost of living in the UK is quite high, with 1.9 million people unemployed (that we know of, most likely around 4 million+), I don't see why mass immigration is even a consideration at this point. Surely we should help the people already in trouble?
