And it's only going to get better, as the more MP's they get the more coverage they're going to get, it'll be a upwards cycle. Were as the Greens has screwed up Briton and is likely to lose their one seat to Labour

The greens are expected to increase their wining percentage Briton!

The UKIP might not actually win any seats you know, and even if they do win 3 or so seats, having increased exposure is a double edged sword. We can already see how disastrous they are as MEPs, having the gaffs Westminster UKIP MPs could completely embarrass the party.

What happens if they don't get more? One of the pollsters on the Panorama programme last night said he thought there was a 90% chance they'd get between zero and two seats, iirc.

What happens if the Tories form a government and do have a referendum in 2017 and we vote to stay in? What happens to UKIP in 2020?

Some of the pollsters are indicating UKIP could well end up with zero seats because even in the seats UKIP are targeting the most they are still behind in the polls. May2015 has a useful analysis.

UKIP are putting so many resources into getting Farage elected that they may end up loosing everything.

They also expect to give everyone a £79 per week living allowance and create a 280bn blackhole, i'll take what the Greens say with a truck of salt.

You see only extreme socialists in this country see UKIP the way you do. No one has a problem with the MEP track record because they were voting in to do what they are doing now. That part is not having a effect either way with UKIP's popularity

Now looks like Juncker is willing to negotiate to give the UK a fair deal, and hasn't ruled out treaty changes, but not to freedom of movement

Surely this can only be a good thing?

I assume you'll be happy for us to do the same if UKIP only get a couple of seats and we can run around like children shouting "told you so"?

He was suggesting a bet, if UKIP failed to get 5 then you intentionally get yourself permabanned.

You should accept provided he agrees to do the same if they do get 5 or more.

It was a lame attempt to try to get rid of me from this forum (it wouldn't have worked anyway). I've already have a bet with someone else to donate £50 to charity if they don't get at least 5 seats. I'm disappointed in Moses he didn't make a bet to charity thing.

Not really news, hes said he will negotiate on some treaties, but not major ones such as freedom of movement.
The major treaties are what us anit-EU folk have an issue with, so its basically playing out as everyone expected, the PM will come back with some minor "wins", nothing will really change, and the gov will use the "win" as a way to convince voters to get into bed more with the EU.

this could be epic, UKIP will never get more than 5 seats, bye Rob ;)

Care to join me in a bet to donate to charity then? They get 5 or more you donate £50?

I've chosen between Save the Children or Christian Aid, (i'm still mad at Save the Children for giving Tony Blair a humanitarian award)

I'll see you on that, try and make this election a little friendlier!

If UKIP get 6+ seats, I will donate £50 a charity of your choice, if it's 1-5 I'll expect the same from you? Donation to Cancer Research UK please :)

Fair enough, personally I don't see freedom of movement as a problem so don't see why that would need changing.

No they don't they want to raise minimum wage to be an inflation linked living wage starting at £10 an hour. No where in their manifesto is there anything about a £79 per week living allowance.

No, UKIP is the most hated party in the UK at the moment, that iswhy they wont win many seats. that has nothing to do with "extreme socialist" what ever they are, but the average public hates UKIP.

Everyone who isn't a kipper has a major issue with UKIP MEP track record, is is absolutely disgraceful shambolic fraud.

Ah so you accept they might get 5 then? Go on be brave ;)

And as above, I've chosen between Save the Children or Christian Aid, (i'm still mad at Save the Children for giving Tony Blair a humanitarian award) basically i want to chose a childerns charity, especially in the case of the recent Napal earthquake. Don't worry i'll post a screenshot of the confirmation email after donating.
