Tax credits are a con, they created a poverty trap, essentially giving you no reason to progress yourself as you'd loose to much.
Theres something wrong when you get a payrise but end up far worse as it pushed you over the threshold.

Good idea in general but its very badly implemented.

You didn't become worse off by getting a pay rise.

As much as anything, you could get a pay rise of up to £25k without it affecting your tax credit until the following year. The Tories have reduced this threshold to £5k.

So you're all a-ok for being blackmailed into voting Labour then? How pathetic

How about you don't get the money taken away from you in the first place instead? The overhead of taking the money in tax and then giving it back to you must have been a huge waste, billions

I'm not advocating Tax Credits

Just pointing out the typical innacurate rubbish you post in your anti-labour rants. :)

Miliband is a stinking hypocrite when it comes to phone hacking.

Explain?

He was the first of the major political leaders to speak up against it and call for change.

Cameron (who employed and was friends with the very people at the centre of it) only spoke up after the public outrage grew to much for him to ignore.

Going to be the first time I've voted, me, close family and friends are all voting for ukip. Rotherham will probably still remain in Labours clutches, but meh why not.

The Sun has come out with a conservative victory. I know it's the sun, but they have had an uncanny ability to predict the result.

This.

Shudder at that the thought of another Labour govt made worse by the threat of an unofficial coalition with former Irish terrorists and future Scottish terrorists.

Shudder at the thought of the Tories destroying this country with their ideological madness.

If the tories are so proud about what they have done why wont they show up to debate with people about it. They wont even show up at their own consituency hustings to defend their record.

They are the worst kind of coward. Shouting about how they stand up so bravely to the poor whilst refusing to take on big business and other interests (media etc).

The sad part is the public are lapping it up. Gideon has missed every single forecast since he's been Chancellor but he is still labelled as a great architect behind the 'recovery'.

Taking from the poor is never an answer

How many times do Labour need to ruin the economy before people stop voting for them.

It's gonna be fun watching the night of the long knives in the Tory party when Cameron doesn't win a majority and the party boot him out. He can't even win an election against a really poor labour leader

Gove and IfS cost him the election if they lose, parents of school kids and relatives of dear old ladies who IfS and atos put through hell are out to punish tories.

I don't think they will but it's feasible that UKIP will have more mp's than the libdems so there's one good thing about UKIP they're good to embarrass cleg.
