Germany Christmas Market Attack (Magdeburg)

The 100 or so bulldozed to death in Germany a few years ago, the 3 young girls in Southport, the people killed by a bomb in Manchester at the Aria Grande concert, the people who died in the London knife attack a few years ago, now the 5 dead and 100's injured in Germany after being bulldozed (again),... I could go on with many more. Without immigration these things wouldn't have happened because these people wouldn't have been in the UK or Germany to do these things.

Also without immigration the NHS would have collapsed (1 in 6 NHS staff are "non-British") and there wouldn't be any carers for our aging population etc etc.

Remind us, what percentage of the UK population is a first, second or third generation immigrant, and remind us then how much smaller the NHS could be in terms of staffing levels if it was reduced in proportion to this.
Also, why don't you remind us which demographics in this country have the highest rates of unemployment and the highest rates of state welfare claims?

You don’t really know that, and this is such a stupid comment because a lot of imagination in particular the uncontrolled immigration reaching our shores is what puts some of the huge strain on the nhs.

I know that bin lorry incident in Scotland 10 years ago was only an accident (he fell asleep at the wheel), but I can't help thinking that this has inspired future kamikaze-style attacks with cars and lorries. There have been numerous copycat crimes over the next 10 years including this one.

Pointless loss of life.

I wonder what the excuse is to keep ignoring these warnings?

No doubt they'll invent some contrived situation that will only heat up the conspiracy theories more.

Huh? Saudi has the death penalty for Apostates. If he was deported to Saudi, he'd be executed - which is why Germany almost certainly won't be able to do that. The Saudis had also been sending warnings to the German government about this guy being a threat; I expect there will be a lot of anger about why those were ignored.
That's exactly why they should do it. Screw his human rights he lost them the moment he took out this act. Save the German tax payer money and send a letter to the Crown Prince.

possibly because all the DEI stuff and shaming over patriotism makes people unwilling to risk being lambasted on SM if they "dare" to "target" a foreigner like this and kick him out

As the warning was coming from Saudi Arabia I would guess their record concerning former citizens becoming dissidents/vocal critics of the regime might go against them. (i.e. Khashoggi)

Dissidents/vocal critics?
That don't exactly apply to this guy now does it.
They warned of his online views being extreme and his potential intention to harm the German public.

From the BBC article.
A source close to the Saudi government told the BBC it sent four official notifications known as "Notes Verbal" to German authorities, warning them about what they said were "the very extreme views" held by al-Abdulmohsen.

However, a counter-terrorism expert told the BBC the Saudis may have been mounting a disinformation campaign to discredit someone who tried to help young Saudi women seek asylum in Germany.

Whatever else he was, he was also a vocal critic of the Saudi regime.

I fear there are some similarities with the way the authorities avoided dealing with the grooming gangs.

I don't think the people on the ground get the backing of the higher ups.

This to be honest.

If Saudi was giving a "warning" about someone who was critical of them, but not through the official, internationally recognised channels I'd imagine a lot of countries would take it with a pinch of salt, given the Saudi's have a habit of kidnapping and imprisoning people who criticise them, and have killed people whose only threat to them was that they were publicly critical.

If someone has been in a country legally, and working in a highly monitored and regulated profession and you've got some vague warning from a government you know will go as far as to kill and dismember it's critics in foreign counties, I suspect many intelligence agencies (going back decades) will take it with a lot of salt, especially if their own observations are not showing anything untoward or out of the ordinary or that points to the person meeting the normal indicators of a threat (and for years it's been pointed out that intelligence agencies have been treating the threat from "right wing" groups/followers far less seriously than they'd treat the threat from say practicing muslims under similar circumstances).

It's like Iran warning that someone who is critical of the Mullah's is a threat to a country and can they please have them deported back.
