Actually they do. Started hiring people earlier this year, but any product to come from this is 5 years away from now according to NV.
Similarly to Intel. Their core replacement to something like AMD Zen, is 4-5 years away also.
 
@Gibbo. How about starting a sub forum only accessible and visible to forum members with a certain post count to prove they are active members. It would be similar to the MM but make it viewable only, no posting by members. You could then post voucher codes for gamers to use when Vega pre orders are available.

This method could work but should also counter in how long you've been a member. My post count is low but I've been a member since 2010!
 
If they do something, they won't give any hint until the 11th hour, or people will spend their time trying to find ways round it, and any complete details will be left until 00:00 on the 14th, when cards become available, most likely.

I agree with this, as someone who reads a lot.. but never feels as knowledgeable as everyone else to actually contribute! Been around forever!

Why include a post count clause? Some of us are good customers for many years but don't post in the forum much, is our cash worth less than some of the, dare I say, folks posting drivel ad nauseum? ;) If that's the case, maybe a "post weighting" based on content could be added too for S&G.

Oh and "Granny's version" should be LoL (lower case o) or maybe Lol. ;)

I think it would be fairer to verify by customer account age, I'm a long time OCUK customer but never really used forum till now. Just post your account details OCUK verify and there you go.

Same boat here, have bought from ocuk pretty exclusively for a number of years, would be pretty disappointed if I was excluded because of my low forum activity...

Not that I expect this to be the case, but voicing my concerns just in case!

sounds pretty silly to be fair, i dont post much but i come on the fourms daily to keep up dated pretty unfair and bad customer service to stick post count to who can buy items lol, and on top of that ive been a member longer and havent posted much but always get my information for new cards builds etc from here
