Gigabytes orange box coolers on AMD? Their AMD gpu's suck lately, don't risk it with a high end card. They did what was probably the worst non reference 480 and after that they couldn't even do a decent job with the 4gb 560 which was a hot and loud pos, I bought one as a stop gap recently, believe me it didn't stop for long. It appears to be Gigabytes turn at neglecting the AMD gpu's at the moment.

Great strategy to play miners off against gamers. Create a pent up demand and watch the pre orders flood in. My 290x will be fine until the dust settles. I'll wait a few months and see how the release affects prices across the board.

Considering one for my amd system but really depends on reviews and pricing. And if past releases are anything to go by we'll get a ratcheted up price at launch due to convenient "low stock". According to amd they should have a good amount for launch so remains to see if that holds true. If its not much faster than fury x then no real point.

I never said the 1x was low end, i just said i don't think it's worth getting one unless you have a low end PC.

For sure we need some bundle info. That the kind of thing people are going to have to think about, weight up and decide on. Not just click the pre-order button. Some warning pre-launch day would be nice.
