Ok,

Installed a fresh copy of windows 8, updated to windows 8.1, no software installed.
Installed the graphic card drivers for my 780ti, as they were installing, the screen turned off as it usually does, but never turned back on, I heard a beep, the pc only reset itself!

Stock config in bios, no tampering in Windows.

Psu, graphics card, mobo? Which one?? :(
 
Do you have any spares you can diagnose with? Maybe take out the gpu and run on the onboard graphics to see if that helps?
Have you recently installed anything new?
Are you running on bios f2b? Might be worth a try if not.
If you have no luck might be worth paying in general see if there's anyone on there that can help as a lot more people will probably read it.

Running f2b bios, but the problem was there with stock bios too.
I may very well have to try integrated on it own. Im reformatting the hd, just to make sure one more time.
 
I was just reading through 8 packs section and found this quote from him which may help you
Freezing in Bios is usually a RAM problem. SA set +0.15v IOA and IOD the same.
Atleast its something else to look at hey, although I know you have stress tested it
 
Suppose there's always the modded F2b bios you could try but more inclined to think its hardware related like a psu issue.
The PC i built with this board on F1 bios is rock solid, but has annoying delay at first boot on the VGA bios screen.
 
Just recieved my Board (and cpu / case) while at work, had a quick gander, lovely looking, lots of nice options in it. What are the Win8 options in bios btw? im reinstalling win8 with this mobo (currently using win7 on my old rig as i had issues with win8) anything i should be aware of before i start?
 
Argh pc wont boot up. Installed the sniper into my new phantek case and put the 4770k in and also my kuhler 920 and my 290. Cabled it all up etc flicked th power switch and nothing... the power button on the mobo just sits there flashing but nothing happens. No fans trying to spin or nada. Any ideas?
 
Have plugged in the 8 pin aswell as the 24pin power plugs. Will try without the 290 using mobo hdmi. Its a lepa 750w bronze psu. Was running my 2500k z68 with the 290 fine tonight til I swapped it all over
