Must admit I never thought about the frame rate counter, always used Fraps. Is it any better?
This is the Gigabyte GTX 480 OC thread right? before you start derailing and confusing people with clocks in this thread . . .
You want to be reading up in this thread: ****Official GTX580 user reviews/benchmarking/overclocking thread****
Use the search facility, also try google as theirs tons of info on it.

Any more pics anyone?
N00b question, but how do I overclock a graphics card? I want to do it safely for once!
Im selling my 580 already
Look on the MM later today if you want it
I sent my 480 SOC back to OCuk today. I was planning on sending the card back yesterday but someone offered me the use of there PC with a 850w PSU in it...the OCCT results where actually worse.
Nearly £20 to send the damn card back though! What's the chances of a refund on that?
If I had sent it to Gigabyte would they have covered the costs?

I think it depends if you sent it back to OCuk as faulty or under the distance selling regulations (DSR). Under DSR it will be at your cost. If you returned it as faulty and they confirm that it is through their testing process, then they should refund your costs if you ask them nicely in the customer support forum.
why ?
He's joking. (I hope)
A bit too expensive I would say seeing as some reference one have been going for £280-£300.
I reckon £350 is the max you will get for it.

I actually just got round to testing the replacement SOC card OCUK sent me with my new Corsair TX850 V2 and the results are exactly the same as with the OCZ Modxstream 600W. I get errors in OCCT at the 78-80 degrees mark at the default voltage of 1.088V. At this voltage it is impossible to keep the card below that temp even with 100% fan speed and a 12CM side fan...
I don't know how you got £9.60, when she wayed it initially it was £12 odd, when she asked how much it was worth, that's when the price went up. I was sending back the whole box though (which was then packaged up) as that's what OCuk told me to send back to them.
OCuk set me up the RMA as a faulty, so it's not DSR as far as I am concerned. I can't see how it's not faulty though, OCCT goes mad!
why selling ? you've had a bad run of faulty cards and now have a fully working one and selling ? you're just asking for trouble .....
was it a new one they sent you or a refurb ?
