It's obviously a generic reply and this is quite indicative of their CS. I They didn't even reply about my "highest safe voltage" question. Too bad.

they said this item is likely to replaced? to they mean the card.. or Component as they clearly said its availible must have been a typo.. ;p
 
My HX 750 has come today so I will be running the card directly off that and have my CM 650 powering the rest of my system. I'll test the card and see what happens and then report back.

I'll try and get it done later on in the evening or tomorrow afternoon and I'll post my results. If it still produced errors then it will be going back!

@Buckster Good to hear it's stable but still unacceptable for Giagabyte to advertise it as a 'Cherry picked' GPU. Running at 1075mV with a reduced core is a fail on their part. Hope it runs everything ok for you though.

Right... D'ya think its the RAM or the CPU?

I now have 4GB DDR2 RAM and a Q6600 @ 3.25Ghz.

I'll probably just wait until BF3 comes out then get a new motherboard/CPU/RAM... I'm just curious whats holding it back atm.

Maybe it's the fact your RAM is DDR2? I'm stumped
 
try the Quadro drivers..... I did for firsttime tonight (they are linked on this forum)

....my IQ has gone up (genuinely)

and my Heaven run was best I've ever managed :) - it looked better too !!
