Godzilla vs. Kong

cmon bruh you can flesh it out as much as you like or want.

it's no different to saying well it's 2 humans fighting what more do you want

the tech in this movie goes insane, sshoulda just threw elon in there with some neural link that helps kong talk
no one would bat an eye lid

No...it's not...it is...not.

Couldn't wait.

And I freaking loved it. Haha

I was so afraid that they where going to do my boi Godzilla dirty. After bloody saving the planet twice it wound have been pretty crap!!!
Still the Alpha baby!!!! In a way though Kong still the King :p

Human parts meh. Loved every minute Godzilla and Kong where front and centre.

I so needed that.

Yeah, I was very happy to see Godzilla win. It wouldn't have made sense to me at all for him to lose to Kong, shame we didn't see him go nuclear/burning but I suppose it would have made it a bit boring if everything just melted while he walked around. lol

Same with Amazon, very strange that it only seems to be available in 1080P in the UK.
I stand corrected. Just got home and checked it on my AppleTV4k box and its full on 4k Atmos, Dolby Vision :D Now I just need to resist the temptation (I'll fail).

I think the fights were planned out pretty well surprisingly:

Before this movie came out people were all of the opinion that all Zilla would need to do was a single blast of the breath of death to turn Kong into a Monkey Torch, Zilla goes for it quite a lot in the fights and only manages a glancing blow, it's well countered or avoided just about every other time.

Yeah, it's good to know you can get the best experience possible, especially with a movie like this.

Well worth a watch tbh.

Not sure if already asked/answered in the thread but where does...

the light come from in Hollow Earth. Some shots clearly were meant to look like sunlight and even some sunbeams here n there.

It's two huge animals fighting each other, why do you need an explanation :)

in conspiracies the earths core is an inner sun google for pics

Going to have to watch it again. It was that ridiculous it was marvelous. The human parts where that bad also it was fantastic. They are just there to get the Ape and Lizard on the screen.

It was more of a Kong movie than Godzilla but he was always central.

Seems movie fans have spoken and fed up with the tripe Hollywood has been pushing lately and this film is raking in the cash.

We want to he entertain and escape the world we live in and not have the finger pointed at us and be told what horrible people we are.

Pretty sure, I've seen both prior Godzilla films but not Kong and it didn't seem to be a problem. You could probably not see any of them and be fine

Not bad, would've preferred to see it on the big screen but hey ho. Everyone had already guest the plot so it came as no surprise.

Rented it out in the end. I was expecting more really and thought a lot of time was wasted on Madison, 'Tap Water' and apparently funny black guy. Even the gorgeous Eiza Gonzalez - complete waste of space.

Kong and his connection to the little adorable girl was lovely, as was her adoptive mother.

Imo King of the Monsters was way better. I'll give it another rewatch, this time at night as the visuals are more suited to it than daytime viewing.
