I got to try Mizuno's new range of JPX clubs that are coming out in September as the Mizuno truck was in my local area by chance today. I got myself fitted for a new set of irons by the Mizuno pro and it's a good job I did as trackman/flightscope or whatever it was they were using showed that I am hitting off the toe too much and need slightly upright clubs.

Some beautiful JPX EZ clubs are on their way, with the option of returning them within six weeks and upgrading to the JPX 850 for little extra cost.

Currently play the JPX 800 Pro and the 850 Forged have really caught my eye. Those with C-Tapers in stiff may be just the change for me. I like the look of the EZ forged in terms of shape but hate the orange. I have been considering the i25s until Mizuno released the 850s.

Going to have a play with the 850 forged this afternoon at my mates range. Hoping for good things, not had an iron upgrade since I moved to my TM r7's and got enough credit in the account for a new set.

Entered my first comp the other day at the course I'm a member at, only blobbed one hole got a nice 31 stableford points in the process. Came 7th in my divison [20-28 Handicap] played with 2 others who play off of 8 and 11 respectively. It's really good seeing low handicap players play seeing their ball control and then there's me trying to keep the ball flight as straight as possible and not lose a ball.

Well the first Ryder Cup pairings have just been announced at the opening ceremony.
Some good matches there, but really looking forward to McIlroy and Garcia V Bradley and Mickelson.

Mcilroy and Garcia have been absolutely dung in both matches thus far.

Simply has to split that partnership.

Edit: Until the last 2 holes :p Finally!!!

That 1/2 point that McIlroy and Garcia rescued at the end was probably as big a punch to the Americans as Poulter handed them in 2012, their confidence is going to be on floor now.

I know shocks happen in the Ryder Cup but to come out of day one 5-3 in the lead with a couple of our best players having struggled bodes well for the next two days.

this afternoons pairings are fail for europe,
rose should have gone with stenson again, why not? they've been a great pairing so far
and having mcllroy with garcia has already proved to = fail, why play them together again?
my prediction is that these pairings will cost europe the RC

looking ok now!:D:D

I would fancy us to win easily if it was 8-8 going into the final day, so to go into it 10-6 up it is all but over imo.

Rose will be nailed on MVP for Europe unless he plays like Happy Gilmore tomorrow.

Don't forget it was 10-6 to the US 2 years ago going into the singles matches and Europe pulled a win out of the hat. Chickens, hens and hatching etc.

12:00: Rory McIlroy v Rickie Fowler
