I love BOA lacing - had cycling shoes like that - my gym lifting shoes have that system - so good - so snug.

@Zeebedy - Amazon?? £39?

No 11's at that price but tempted to gamble on 11.5 and return if too big

That's a pretty good deal... I'm starting to feel the spikes in mine though so would want to go spikeless at this point.

Another day, another round... Scored 115 at the usual place, not great but not bad. Some decent shots in there, oddly my Driver has started working again, so that's nice :p

yes mate, thats the ones! bargain really!

they are nice, decent quality shoes. They are a little tight to get on through the initial slip-on, but once on they are comfortable and snug.

I went for the 11.5 as I am either that or an 11, it depend on the shoe really. But these Pumas are quite wide fitting which is nice, they are a good size for me.

Also, for piece of mind @booyaka i know you will know you can return them anyways, that was my thoughts, and why I pulled the "trigger" blind testing them.

Just got back from a lesson/wedge fitting

Started on the range to establish gapping with full shots then moved to a practice green for some chipping. Was surprised how far I was hitting the 52 (90 yards) compared with my existing PW (105-110) which is strongly lofted at 43.5

Tried a 56 & 58 and we settled on the 56 as I was hitting it better, 70 yards for a full shot not that I'd expect to be hitting many of these. This will be a club for around the green where I can make use of the extra bounce.

Waiting for the club shop to confirm they can price match on line. Assuming they can an order will be going in.

TaylorMade MG3, 52 & 56 with half inch longer shafts, 1 degree upright.

I REALLY don't need any more shoes - Got black puma's & white puma's already then an old pair of winter UA ones - But at that price - I'm tempted to give them a whirl....

Damn it - bought... here tomorrow for "testing"

yeah, i never realized how important wedge fitting (stupidly) along with irons etc..so when I got fitted for my irons, (getting 5-GW), thought **** it, i will get my wedges while im here..

I got just the two wedges, and a Gap Wedge on my WS D9 iron set, I usually go, 52, 56, 60 but do to the gapping between the PW and 52, I now have 5-GW then a 56 and 60 wedge set.

I have 13 clubs in my bag, and decided to see how i get on without one, and if i find down the line I would like one, I will just get one made up to my current spec, and as of now, im saving £100~ as it is

Yeah - my gap wedge is 50, and I've got 54/58 in wedges as well. Very happy with bag setup for now.

Yeah, chipping and putting is definitely the way to score.

I can’t wait for my new irons..I sold the P770s on the weekend there, and still have about what? 2-3 weeks to wait till their built :(

is your gap wedge part of your iron set boo? and then you have separate wedges in 54/58 variations??

yeah - GW is part of my set (jpx 921 forged) - then T22 denim copper mizuno wedges for 54/58. Didn't get "fitted" for the wedges - just off the shelf ones. Nice wedges, can't complain - if I was buying again would probably go back to vokey's.... Just had Vokeys for years and thought I'd try something different this time.

nice. Yeah, I dont think the wedge fitting is quite as essential as The irons, and wasn’t going to get new wedges but I was already in the net so..

are you thinking of going back to the Titleist‘s soon then?

Out for a fun round today on the shorter course at our place (our club has a championship course and a fun slightly shorter winding and undulating track also) entertaining a colleague over from the states with two local golf mates and talk about a game of two halves.
I put the first hole drive into gorse, gone, never to be found again, hooked and pulled my way round the first hour and a bit but by the 9th tee I'd found a swing to work with for the day. I drove the 9th hole measuring around 300yds, fairly flat but had a perfect draw wind helping. It landed on the fringe and rolled up parallel to the flag around 15 feet away. I holed it and walked off with eagle but more importantly, my game immediately lifted for the rest of the round, funny how one hole can make or break a round. Playing in a comp tomorrow morning so will see how it goes on the bigger course.
