If you suffer from terribly cold hands during the winter months, and can't even feel the clubs you're holding, this is for you!

Bought one of these for an early Christmas present for myself:

It's a godsend, I was worried it wouldn't be warm enough, but it's boiling! Keeps my hands toasty and at one point, had to turn it down, my hands felt too hot in there. :p
Playing at 11am today, and with how cold it is, this is a MUST for me.

I'm carrying at the moment, so it's fine.
Don't know what it's going to be like when Im pushing my trolley around, as hands are going to be on that. I'll figure that out, will be carry all winter anyway..
£100 for warm hands and to look like a nonce around the golf course?! No thanks!

Another round today, still bloomin freezing out :p

After yesterdays decidedly average round it was kinda back to normal today but good, definitely had some bad holes with both a triple and quad bogey but also got 4 pars which kinda counteracts that :p

Best shot of the day was chipping in on the 14th, it was clean/close enough that I considered putting but I do love chipping and just felt good about the shot/line so went for it, job done, 0 putt goodness albeit 'only' for a bogey.

94 though, +24, better stats all round compared to yesterday but only 3 shots better really, 54% fairway, 17% GIR and 1.8 putts per hole.

Next games will be in Marrakech next week, looking forward to it :)

You know..this frustrates me a bit..American Golf..

I was in today and speaking to a staff member, ended up for about 45 minutes! Real nice guy.

now, the guilty part, AG don’t price much, so I feel bad getting products where are cheaper..and some considerably, when I would like to give them the business, but some things are too pricey to do so..

am I the only one..?

Nothing wrong with that at all, times are tough

Business is business...

For the same product - why pay more?

They had UA Trousers once for "sale" at £49.99. I said to the guy they are £32 online on loads of different sites would they price match. He said no as they were already discounted from £59.99.

Walked out and bought online whilst walking to my car in the carpark. I'm all for trying to help retail sales/sales people out...but when the price difference is like 30/40% forget it.

Had a quick comp yesterday, with a small turn-out, since its a mid-morning Friday comp.

28 people, I joined late by signing up the day before as I saw there were spaces available.
Shot a pretty easy 82, 13 over, with 3 double bogeys on the F9.

I usually play terrible on the B9, but that's where I scored the best, shooting a 39 on the back.

Ended up with 38 stableford points, topped the leaderboard on count-back, as I birdied the last hole.
Shame there were only 28 players, prize would be nice if there were more - still waiting to hear how much 1st place is worth, but assume it's about £30-ish.

1st comp I've won in the new club though, very pleased!

Arrived today! :D

Driving range time with @Maccy on Saturday - my club has a trackman range, so always fun to play with some numbers. Only remembered yesterday to turn on the ball conversion, I was wondering why my 3 wood was only going 220 yards :o Played a couple of virtual courses, we somehow ended up under par

Why is the Scotty better than an other blade putter?
There's not much in it really.
Putting is 100% confidence related, if you feel you're going to hole more putts with something you love the look and feel of, it's going to have a positive impact on your game.

I had a spider for awhile, which I just didn't get on with. I took the jump towards the SCs and I love it - it definitely helped me in whatever way it did - I just started making more putts.
Could it be that I just don't get on with mallet type putters? Could it be I suit a blade better?
Either way, my putting is much better with the SC than any other putter I've had.

2030 - Mark the date in your calendars boys and girls!

Can't see this having much if any impact on the majority of golfers where quality of strike will be a far bigger determinant of distance than the ball being used. Especially if as the R&A say it will have more effect the faster the swing speed.
