Getting out for 18 here next week. Used to play the course all the time as a kid and this'll be my first time back in 12 years. I. can. not. wait.

I wouldn't be able to make the 21st as we are moving house on the 19th so all of that weekend will be spent doing that sort of stuff.

Seems my golf shoes don't really fit me any more with my new insoles, and the studs are all wrecked and rusted into the shoe. Off to Nevada Bob's tomorrow to try some out.

Just traded in my Ping G15 for a Taylor Made Superfast Burner 2.0.
Should get it next week sometime. 10.5 stiff.
Got £100 from local pro for me G15 and new driver is £180 so only £80 to change. Looking forward to a slagging from the lads I play with for having a white driver!!

I am likely to have my iron set for sale in the next week or two, anyone looking to get into golf with a decent starter iron/hybrid set?

Guys, any idea of what I should look for as my next set of irons? Been using my 1st half-decent set (MD Superstrong Tungsten Ti, steel, reg) for almost 3 years now and feel it's time to move on to something a little bit better.
I'm a pretty good iron striker, although I am more of a 'picker' in that I tend to pick the ball cleanly without much of a divot most times. I also have no issues getting the ball in the air, in fact if anything I have a very high ball flight, even with my 10.5 driver.
Been looking at Taylormade Burners (09), but open to pretty much anything decent really. Not looking to spend a packet, if new, less than £350, but preferably a 2nd hand set for around £150-200.
Any recommendations as to what should I look for?

As above, I will be selling my Nike Slingshot mixed set, as I am going to get fitted for G20's hopefully this week. I'd be looking for around £140 if they are of any interest to you.

Just ordered some Stuburt Helium waterproofs, for the upcoming very wet season
Have a short sleeve version and find it very good indeed.
Hopefully they will be a lot better than my current Ping ones, which I found out to my cost are only any use in very light rain - I got a complete soaking in them a few weeks back!

I bought some Footjoy FJ Sport shoes and they're unbelievably comfy. They feel super rigid in the sole laterally (while swinging) but flex nicely when walking due to the flex zone. I'll see how they do over 18 on Wednesday.

With no idea on your skill or how long you might have been playing pitch and putt or using the driving range I'll randomly guess: 110

Managed to play the back 9 twice at my home course this weekend and was fairly happy with the way I played. A little better than more recent outings, although annoyed at my par 3 scores on Sunday.
Hopefully the purple patch will stay with me for the rest of the season but I doubt that somehow, it never does
