Just back from Thailand and managed a couple of games at the awesome Green Valley Rayong course with a bunch of old ex-pat mates.

Scored crap (25 points and 28 points) but with the following excuses (!) :

haven't played for a couple of months
using borrowed MP67 Mizuno blades
using a borrowed blade putter when I have a mallet
using borrowed shoes
seriously warm both days

On the first day, an 18-year-old played off the tips and shot 67! Unbelievable!

Ah now, that is the interesting distinction isn't it? Remember to carefully read the details:

* 14 Way Graphite Friendly
* Full Length Dividers

Note the separation in those two "features"!

The top has a 14-way graphite-friendly divider so that each club-head is separated from the others. It also has full-length dividers.

But it does NOT have 14 full length dividers. I make it mine has about six dividing the insides, not 14. Does a great job mind you.

cheers for that info. Still will probably buy it - looked at the ping bag in store the other day and not a fan - i hate the external putter thing.

Bought myself a new Scotty Cameron today. Black Newport prototype with a terylium insert. Can't wait to try it out :)

i doubt you will ever need another putter.

I've had my scotty for about 4 years now and it's fantastic. None of this crazy white/ping "weird" shaped heads etc.

Simple, clean line and putts great. Looks as good as new as well.

I would be stunned if you ever changed it. Costs a few quid but a totally worthwhile investment

Got my putter today. I love it!

Hey fergie128 i had the exact same putter for 10 + years, bought it from Stoneham GC (which is an amazing course, if your ever in Hampshire btw) in 1998, sold it on the bay last year for £175.00 to a guy in America.

If i remember correctly, i bought it after watching Tiger win his first masters with it, i use the butt ugly 2 ball now, but by god its good :)

Good luck with yours, tis a classic.

Anyone played much recently? I've had a couple of winter league matches since Christmas but haven't got on the course as much as I'd like. Even when I do manage to get a few holes in I feel rusty as hell! Roll on the nicer/warmer weather and days where we don't have to wear as many layers!! :)
