You need the BFG edition of doom3 because it supports 3D.

Opt into the beta branch on steam, think you add '-vr' to the launch properties, change steam VR to direct, only play if you have good VR legs.

They seem to have region locked it since as of yesterday.

As of 5 minutes ago I was still able to jump in, hopefully that doesn't change. There are many that would be disappointed were that to change.
