First day on marshmallow

8 hours since I charged and down to 84% battery. Very impressed. Although it has been a light use day

hmmm
have you found any problems with radio ?
my is just carp...worse than it was with 5.1.1 ...
and again messenger and facebook apps eat through battery..and I think no one else seems to have same problem with them ?
I started to have that issue on 5.1...

not sure what do to..i had a fresh install of 6.0 with full wipe

On my OPO I was able to use OpenCNAM for reverse lookup of unknown numbers - is it possible to set this up on stock MM? I have a subscription to OpenCNAM as well, so it would be cool to be able to use this.

Cheers,

Su

After a charge last night and using the phone lightly today (WiFi, mobile data, location with Google maps usage) and the battery is higher than it would have been. Good news if that continues.

Radio seems OK but I have not really tested or noticed.

Anyone noticed Mobile Standby using a lot more battery power on MM?

I wonder if maybe Enhanced LTE (VOLTE?) or wifi calling settings are responsible for this? (Using phone on T-Mobile USA).

Cheers,

Su

I have same problem. But not everyone has it

I have same problem. But not everyone has it

This is with 2:51 of screen on time, and having been on wifi at home all day...

I mean I'm not complaining about the battery life itself (it's pretty good!), but just seems strange that mobile standby is hammering the battery - especially when I am not even using mobile data!

Is anyone having issues with the camera since updating to 6.0, my wife said that it's much slower than before the update. I can't say i've noticed but i don't take may pictures myself.

Also noticed that the battery usage seems a bit strange since the 6.0 update. Managed to only us about 25% of the battery over around 12 hours with 2 hours screen on time yesterday, but finished the day with arounf 3.5 hours screen on time and 10% battery left, this was after about another 8 hours of the day. Usage conditions were the same. As I spent most of the day at home.

Cut mine - it borked it..was with a micro sim cutter. The cutter worked fine when I did it for other people. Just my luck.

Got a new free SIM off EE in the end.

I cut my old micro sim down to a nano sim using scissors and a template, when i went to a Z3c, which worked just fine. But then changed contracts a day before i ordered the N6, so ordered the correct sim for it.

There is a thickness differance which i was a little worried about, but the Z3c was fine.

I have an issue whereby my latest TiBackup + Nandroid are not showing when I plug my phone into the PC to copy over. However the files are there on my phone when using the phone's files explorer.

Anyone know a fix to this?

So I put a matte black dbrand skin on the back of my blue N6 a few days ago, and really like how it looks:

However, part of the reason I got the skin was to add a bit of texture for grip - however, with the skin, the phone is a lot LESS grippier than before! Definitely feels like I am going to drop it imminently (especially when one-handed).

Do you guys know if any of the other dbrand textures are more rubbery? Or any other brands that make skins with grippier materials?

[edit] I definitely don't want a bumper or proper case - hate them :p

Cheers,

Su

I've been looking on dbrand last night :)
Reviews are saying that carbon and leather ones have more grip.
I'm tempted to go for wood effect :)

After upgrading to Marshmallow (OTA) this thing is very fast, AND superb battery life, for the first time in years I`m not overly tempted to upgrade to the latest Nexus 6P (especially as it bends so easily ;))
