Bought a Moto G 4G as a replacement after my Nexus 4 died. It's a smashing little phone, but I'm missing the high quality camera (especially front facing for hangout calls) and sometimes the lack of power. I do love the battery life of the Moto G though.

I'm please to hear that Google are improving the battery life on the Nexus as my 4 was pretty awful to be honest, and I am by now means a power user.

I've not had an amoled device before, and wasn't aware that they suffered from burn in issues. Now considering I've had my current phone for 4 years, how likely am I to have problems with burn in?

Burn in hasn't been an issue with AMOLED for years... just rubbish spread by fanboys

surely burn in is only an issue if you have your screen on 24/7 and sat on the same screen for the same amount of time. my phone is never on the same screen very long, its a non issue!

I got some burn in on my one s (2 years later), where the status bar icons are i.e. wifi icon and battery etc. although it is only noticeable if you go looking for it.

Even at £500 or slightly under its too expensive. I was waiting for the nexus 6, but no way am I paying that much for a phone!

What device are you going to be buying that's equal or better spec and cheaper out of curiosity?

What a waste of a review. Not many on YouTube. You would think he would do an in depth one

As a positive, we can see both screens are on full brightness. The note 4 is 700 nits, and looks like the same brightness as the nexus 6

What didn't you like out of interest?

The hardware felt nice but coming from a Nexus 4/5 the software put me off a little. I had a Note 3 and the initial size made me really like it especially after disabling some of the bloat and using Nova prime etc but just don't think I can go back there now (TW). I need stock Android with default Google apps.
More so seeing how sweet Lollipop looks. Checkout the Galaxy S5 video of Lollipop on TW it looks nasty.

nexus 6... may well be delayed as it is being pushed via carriers in the US. may not see it here for a while due to supply issues
