Isn't this just OnLive all over again?
Yes but we're 10 years more advanced now. In theory. Ironically, the YouTube stream I was watching was awful. Barely went above 480p!
Isn't this just OnLive all over again?
Anyway, what is stadia? is it a box of tricks that links to the CC ultra or do the pads just connect straight to the CCs (maybe that's why the ultra's were rumoured to support bluetooth peripherals...)
Yes it may do 4k60fps, but no one has seen the graphical capabilities that these servers will be pumping out yet. Or what settings the graphics will be dialled in to.
God of war 2? Am I missing something? I'm still yet to play 4!
So initial purchase of £119, plus £8.99 PM sub, and even though there are free games you still have to actually buy the ones you want?
Are they insane? Or have i completely misread it all...
Will there not be data implications for this with ISP’s? 4K streaming will hammer your connection. Nearly 16GB an hour!
Won’t you eventually get severely throttled by your ISP, or even worse, won’t they decide that it’s not sustainable and start charging extra for heavy stadia users?
Well, I'm sold on Stadia. My XB1 is screwed
At what level of detail though?
It's not aimed at us, this is for casual players who won't care about things like input latency.
I thought Steam has plans for making all games available should it shut down (which seems unlikely at this point). Also, all those other platforms allow me to download the games so I have them locally. Is it the same thing with Stadia?
4K 60 fps HDR with Ray tracing Cyberpunk 2077 could make me give it a go. Just saying.
Isn't it a WiFi controller and not Bluetooth?
Cheers, so a big data plan then.
