US: Gotham (US spoilers)

It's not been incredible but still consistent enough to stay interested.

Don't see it happening anywhere down the line but I'd love see some Deathstroke/Deadshot involvement.
 
I'm liking this so far, apart from shoving some stuff down my thought. Yeah I know your the riddler thank you very much.
 
I find it funny that there only seems to be one police precinct in this show. I know there are budget constraints to any TV show, but are we really expected to believe that pretty much every cop in the city is too scared or corrupt to do anything about the mob? I know this is Gotham and it's supposed to be a filthy and pretty wild place, and we're seeing a version that's probably even worse because it's pre-Batman, but I find it hard to believe that the police would be that useless.

I still love the Penguin in this, Robin Lord Taylor is doing a great job playing him, and I'm keen on the guy playing Falcone too, I think he's better than the guy from the Nolan Batman films. I can't stand Fish Mooney though, I really can't wait for her to be killed off, presumably by Penguin (I'm imagining some cheesy 'Penguins eat fish' type line).

Why how many police stations should a city have? Given its size, yes, it would probably have two smaller precincts to aide with response times, but in reality it wouldn't make much difference given that everyone is in the mobs pocket one way or another.

They are in the mobs pocket, and seeing as the mob controls everything from cops to the mayor...plus it was szasz that was threatening them all that would have happened was szasz would have had a few more marks to add to his growing collection.

One of falcones upper tier henchmen. It's not so much about being useless, it was to demonstrate how much of a hold and how much power the mob hold over law enforcement at the moment.

I am really liking how manipulative penguin is. The character is being played really well, but as others have pointed out, I'm not a fan of fish mooney. I have a feeling that when she dies penguin will inherit it and it will become the iceberg club.

You can tell he is about 5 moves ahead of everyone else.
 
Latest episode was great. They should rename it to the penguin show as that git is awesome. Steals every scene he is in.
 
Got bored of this and flash myself unfortunately. Wanted to like it but there is noting making me want more.

With the Walking Dead, Homeland and even The 100 I find myself wanting to watch the next episode. With Gotham and Flash I just don't care what is going to happen next :(
 
I'm liking this a lot so far. Wasn't sure I would as I hated that guy when he was in Southland, but he's good in this. Personally i'd like to see less of the monster of the week episodes and more of the main story arc, but that's the same with any show for me.

Some really nice eye candy as well, which is a bonus :D.

Have you watched this week's episode? For me it's the point at which the series has matured, suddenly the story arc has a huge amount of promise.

Starting to enjoy it more now. I think i might have liked it more from the start if it hadn't been called Gotham, the name means you have certain expectations going into the show.

Yes that was very good, I know the whole thing is about 'Batman' but I don't think the show would be any different without Bruce.

Not sure where there going with him..
 
Think it just gets better, love the darker tone. (Arrow far to sappy for me right now.) Building an interesting overall plot.

Who was Kristen Kringle meant to be? Not sure why the would be Riddler was having a go at her name :confused:
