What a race.. Had to start last after the disaster in turn 1. Then pace started to be quite good and had some good overtakings...

I didn't see a replay of the incident with haryanto but I believe I was next to him and he closed the door. The penalty then ruined it all..

Well that was a interesting 250 meters. Good start was P9 orso. Then stuck in traffic! Mayhem first corner! 14 cars involved!

Its a real joke that some people where allowed to restart. And I wasn't. Cause I had a puncture!? Organisation didn't do I good job today...

And also @Daniel_Abt trying to overtake Haryanto. Which was clean and really nice to see! And get penalised? WOW!

Was all a bit messy that race.

I'm a bit surprised by the Cecotto penalty, to me at least didn't seem like anything intentional whereas he has gone unpunished when it was intentionally dangerous :confused:

Ah well guess it all evens out in the end

I'd imagine he was warned 'keep your nose clean or else' over the last few incidents and his lock up into T1 which caused the pile up was the last straw.

GP3 are holding a stand alone event this weekend for Round 2, it's at Valencia... Ricardo Tormo, not the street circuit.

Times are...

Qualifying Sat 1:30pm

Race 1 Sun 9:55am

Race 2 Sun 1:55pm

Hopefully they get a decent turn out, think they aren't even charging to attend so fingers crossed they will have some people to race in front of.

Daly won the first race at Valencia, combined with an 8th place in the sprint race he moves up to 2nd in the points standings on 51. Tio Ellinas leads on 55 points.

Great feature race... Have really become a Russian Time fan over the course of the season so far, 2 great drivers.

Felt sorry for Coletti, was cheering when Dillmann got past but when he got taken out was a shame.
