Got my platinum today, just sold the copy on Ebay. The online is DREADFUL and I doubt PD has any intention of fixing it due to everyone rejecting monetization schemes. Shame.

I play online every day, there are some bad eggs out there but for the most part its a laugh.

Just plough through the menus at the start and you will get the hang of it in no time
 
Just finished the World GT Series - and I swear this game has a boost mode for the AI! Using the NSX Gr.3, I managed to get to the front by the final straight on race 5 (Nurburgring 24h), making my way through the last lap leading the pack with a healthy 5-6 second lead over the WRX Gr.3 that was in second, I carry on my way - only to hear what sounded like a V12 behind be from seemingly out of nowhere - I look behind and the Mazda Concept car that was in 7th, is now right on my ***! How in the hell did that car go from ~17 seconds behind me, to right up my behind, over what seemed like a fifth of the lap.

Not the first time I have noticed this either, and (so far) I've not found any settings to turn it off...
 
It says they fixed the custom gear ratios PP issues. Tomahawk glitch fixed then? Or it will end up like last time where a slightly different change gets the low PP again
 
Recently picked up a PS5 and debating on GT7, is it worth it? Has it returned to form since the GT1 and GT2 days?
 
With this update, it appears to have sorted the main issues in sport mode, if they have finally sorted the gearbox PP glitch, hopefully we can finally get non BOP races! You can now see how close you are to the next DR rank, i'm almost at A (about 90-95% along the bar), i doubt i'm fast enough to keep up with them though. It looks like the Sport mode time trial updates every 2 weeks, so that might be ok, GR3 on the first one.

The new menu book rewards are a Radical and 2x 6-star tickets (hopefully pre-programmed for good rewards..), the Kei menu book has bad race payouts, haven't check the VGT or GR1 books yet.
 
Kei cars are awful!

I’ll check out my DR rank in a bit. Seem to be going backwards this week Monza is pretty crazy into the chicanes online with the lungers. I always seem to come off worse and get the pens for it.
 
I've just finished the 3x Kei car races in the 400pp Cappiccino I used for the 1hr endurance mission.

The only VGT I've got is the Toyota Gr3 race car, I need to choose one of them for the 3x 90k cr PP850 menu races next.

Someone on gtplanet won the Tommahawk VGT S on the ticket from the VGT book. That's the one people were using glitched tunes with I think, lol

Edit: completed the VGT races in the Toyota Gr3, won a Ford GT on the ticket.

Gr4 Atenza lost 20hp in BOP with this update along with some other AWD cars.

Gr3 BOP changed too but not as much.

First Monza Win in the Gr3 Jag, most others were in the WRX as usual. I did start 2nd though, lol

My 400pp Cappuccino has front and back aero (50/110), a turbo kit and just a quick camber (0.7/0.5)/toe (0/0)/diff (5/15/20) tune. Just what i could do to get it under 400pp

I love the Jag too and rarely see others using it!
 
Well this new k-cup menu is the new worst thing ever. awful cars and opponents that seenm to be miles faster despite tuning my car to near the PP limit. Best I've managed is 8th so far

I got to 7th in one of the USA ones. Cars feel horrible. I’ll do it when I’ve got more free time.
