Mine's 2.5 years old. I wanted a HDMI 360 and a memory card anyway so bought an arcade for £140 :p
 
I've just laffed my backside off at the missions for the Rasta guys and LJ.

The cut scenes at the one before you go kill the dealers are priceless, especially Niko's expressions when the other Rasta is talking to him and LJ is "interpreting".

Quality, comedy gold!!!. :D

Locked up on me several times now. Once ingame when I entered a restaurant to buy a burger for $1 it just froze and a reboot was the only way to get out of it. Before that it had froze when loading the game up. And initially had frozen on install.

Checked my PS3 with other games and all work fine. Latest 2.30 firmware, brand new Bluray drive (Sony refurb unit launch 60GB model).

I had 3 lockups yesterday on my ps3 60gb which needed a hard reset. So you are not the only one.

Indeed, there are quite a few moments that made me smile to myself :)
 
I had to laugh at the self-deprecation Niko bestows on himself during the skittles (sorry, bowling) match on First Date with Michelle, when he (okay, me) doesn't play very well.

The impression from the advertising was that things were going to be all dark and grim with this character, but so far I've been finding it's not that heavy and the humour very much to my taste (and Roman is a gas!).
 
Does anyone know if you can store vehicles anywhere? I won a quality sports car during for a race for Brucie. There are no safehouses located on my map anymore? (this is after Roman's garage and flat get burnt)
 
i didnt do any of the taxi missions from roman before the taxi place got burnt out...

do you get the chance to do these further into the game? or shall i load an old save and do them all?

I went straight for a bus when I reached the middle island. They are virtually (, and perhaps completely) indestructible, and there's so much to hit and mow down! The physics model really gets a good going over there. ;)

I just want some meatier weapons. Where's an RPG when you need one. Those helicopters are bugging me. :D
