Have you tried pausing the game and looking through the mission briefs? maybe you missed something!

You will find a random character standing around near Romans cab office called Brian - if you approach him you get a few missions too.
 
Ok thanks guys I'll have mooch over to the cab office tonight.
One more question, do you have to have Roman's Taxi to do those missions? cos last time I saw it I was bailing out as it was plunging into the sea :)

Nah, it will re-spawn in the cab office all nice and dent free too :D

You haven't turned on sleep mode on the phone have you? that stops ingame progression...

If not could try turning it on and off to prompt a mission?
 
Has everyone seen or heard of the ZIT service in-game?
If you hear a song that you like on the radio in GTA4 dial ZiT-555-0100 on the in-game mobile phone and you'll get a text back saying the artist and title!
In the US you also have the ability to buy the MP3 from Amazon (aparently this will role out to other regions).
How cool is that!?
 
Just done that snow storm mission... damn that would have been hard if i hadn't had placed a boat outside for the getaway :D
