I grab one from the posh toffs at the south east edge of the starting island at the start of each game.
 
Question, does dating give anything other than 'a bit of hows ** father' had the 1st bird up to 100% and got nada, so no real incentive if u dont get anything, to continual dating the silly bint.

Had my first PS3 lockup yesterday :( kind of ironic though as I paused the game to google how to unlock a frozen iPod Nano and when I returned to game it had froze too :eek:

press up on the D-pad twice to get the numpad on your mobile phone and enter 948 555 0100 and hit dial. After you have used it the first time it will stay in your address book. Then if a track comes on the radio which you like you just dial the number and it will text you back with the artist and track name.
 
HELP!
How do you get your next mission? I've done Bleed Out (where you beat up the two guys in the park and chase t'other and kill him) and while waiting I've taken Michelle out again and been out with Roman twice; still nothing! To kill time I've beaten a few randoms up on the seafront and found a gun at the go kart track but I'm bored now.

Did you not have any texts come through? Try calling a few people to see if it triggers the next mission.

Nope no texts :( and I only have Roman and Michelle in my phone book, Roman doesn't seem to answer unless I call using one of the activities (already got food twice, played darts and got drunk with him).

Perhaps save at your safehouse to advance time 6 hours, that triggered a Roman text message for me, thought it was later in the game.

Tried that, still nada - thats when I decided to call Roman again to do something, dropped him off, nothing drove around for a bit - got shot by a swat team after ramming a police barrier in my RangeRover Sport (well thats what it looks like). Phoned Michelle, went on our 3rd date (:rolleyes:).

I'll see what happens with it tonight, otherwise I'll have to start a new game :mad:
(anyone know if you start a new game does it reset the game timer? thinking about the complete in 30 hour achievment)
 
have a look around Romans garage, at one point when there was no R on the map there was this guy stood near there which triggered a little cutscene.

I thought I was dreaming whent his happened to me, I seemed to get into the same situation of nothing to do..
What got me out of it, was to just drive to Romans cab office, and go to the floating arrow, I then got asked to go and pick up one of his regulars, and the story progressed..

have a look around Romans garage, at one point when there was no R on the map there was this guy stood near there which triggered a little cutscene.

Yes, I remeber that too, there was a man near the cab office showing as green on the map.. but I didn't still progress until I arrived at the cab office itself.. and thinking about it, I think the R on the map was flashing?

However, I've done a few more missions, and it does seem easy to just faff around doing nothing, I just keep phoning people and getting missions/work, but I just am never quite sure what I am supposed to be doing, maybe that's just the way the game works which would make it a bit devoid of a story..
