So many games recently downsize the graphics come release date. Unless rockstar have intentionally built this for the ps6/Xbox x2 and know that we'll all double dip to get the 'full version's in 2027.....

It's funny seeing people on social media rambling about "how the gfx don't look that good compared to alan wake 2 or rdr 2". Do any of those games have even remotely the same level of things going on in terms of npc's, vehicles, buildings etc? Sure they could have made it visually look more real but at the expense of the cityscapes and character amount that gta games are known for. It would be a much smaller sandbox overall as well if they focused more on visuals than having something that felt like an actual city.
Cyberpunk did it pretty well. You need to WANT to do this. That's it.

Lol. Wtf. Looks great to me. I will be surprised if it looks like that while playing. Looks much better than Cyberpunk.

They are just idiots. It quite obviously has the most impressive open world game graphics we've had yet.

Seeing as R*'s games tend to look stupidly close to the trailers I can just about see them pulling this off. Which probably means it'll set a new standard for open-worlds like RDR2 did in terms of visuals and incredible amount of detail/interactivity.

I look forward to wasting £2000 on a GPU in 2026 to be able to play this anywhere close to resembling that trailer :p
I don't think it's going to be that demanding, it needs to run on a console. I think if you got a pretty high end system now it should be fine for a console port. Rdr2 and GTA5 ran really well on average systems.

I don't think it'll look much like that trailer by the time it's actually running on a current gen console personally, but we'll find out in a year or two :p
