Absolutely insane, 57 million views on the official trailer already. Absolutely mental.

Trailer was pretty damn good too. Could it be the first time where it actually launches on PC at the same time as Console, they did buy FIVEM after all which is a huge reason why GTAV is still going very strong now.

If it is console only start, can you play games like this with a keyboard and mouse on the PS5 these days? Not owned a console in 20 years.

As said before I can't see it coming out on PC as well on release.

All those those double dips are worth faaaaaaar too much money.

Hope to be proved wrong, but Rockstar would literally be saying no to so much profit so I can't see it happening.

Just watched the trailer and really looking forward to this now.

Hmm now already wondering how long after for PC.

3-6 months I can deal with. If it's a year wait that would be too long I reckon (for me at least).

Not owned a console since the N64...

Yep, like 'em or loathe 'em, Rockstar is the undisputed king of sandbox games - they essentially have unlimited money to make them though which is a huge advantage over other developers.

Last time around it was 18 months, so they could triple dip sales on seventh gen and then eighth gen consoles before finally releasing for PC.

They are releasing this time around on ninth gen consoles not long before the rumour mill suggests we should be seeing tenth gen consoles appear.

Assuming tenth gen consoles do indeed end up with 2026/27 release dates, I reckon the best a PC release can hope for is to be alongside those.

I can see myself getting a console next year just for this. I've only owned one console since the PS1 and that was the XBox 360. So I inevitably got GTAV launch day on that and will never forget the experience of starting that game the first time. Probably most memorable gaming moment since the 90s.

Let's do it again!
